Pros:

Der Gastgeber Hanno war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Durch seine guten Ortskenntnisse habe ich die schönen Orte der Gegend besucht. Ich habe mich wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Kaffee und Tee gab es gratis in der Gemeinschaftskueche. Die Unterkunft war sauber, was will man mehr.

I recently stayed at a shared house in Germany and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, which I would like to share.
During the booking process, I selected 09:00–10:00 AM as my preferred check-in time. The host then confirmed via email that this time would not be a problem. However, when I arrived at the property, the host informed me that I could only check in at 9:00 PM. I showed him the email in which he clearly stated that an early check-in was acceptable, but he simply said he was sorry and insisted that I would have to wait until the evening — unless I paid an extra €50 to check in earlier.
Since the property was located in a rural area and I had no other options, I was forced to pay the additional fee.
Moreover, the beds were uncomfortable, and the host was unfriendly and unwelcoming throughout my stay. Overall, the quality of the service was far below expectations.
I am sharing this experience to prevent others from facing similar situations and to encourage more transparency and accountability from accommodation providers.
