Spacious and well-located with good food, but let down by poor cleanliness and service issues

The room is spacious. Nice location. Food is good.

Cons:

1. First major disappointment was finding someone else’s hair stuck in the drain. It seemed like they rushed the cleaning to give us the room an hour before, although we weren’t told that they would need extra time to clean it properly.
2. The water coming from the tap is just a trickle, have to wait almost 30 mins to have the bucket full. The fitted shower does not work unless you keep the knob pressed with your hand the whole time you want it on.
3. Breakfast time is just an hour between 8 to 9 am. Options are limited but that was fine as food is tasty and freshly made. However, even when we arrived at 8:20 am, the lights were off and nothing was set on the table. The staff was very slow, forgot to serve us one of the items we ordered and then went away. We waited there for close to 20 minutes and had no one to serve us.
4. Housekeeping is not done unless you ask for it while you are away, and there is no tag or sign to inform the staff about it other than telling them.
5.Toiletries (like soap) was just one for the two of us and we found a soap that was already opened (plastic wrapper taken off) and a brush packet that was open.

Good food, clean and delicious

Cons:

Intercom was not working when we tried to call the receptionist but they have sent the technician on request and rectified. Bit noisy from the neighbouring rooms like door slamming. Otherwise it was good
