Pros:

Comfortable beds, close to station. Happy for us to leave bags while we explored after check out. I enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks from the vending machine at front desk - especially the apple tea. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Cons:

モーニングをつけていたが、付属の居酒屋での食事だったため、朝からメニューが重かった。モーニングというより、軽い夕食といった感じ。

If only the UK had hotels like this
Pros:

Excellent value for money right next to the station (it's on the same side as the famous Gate, left side when exiting the station door). Very clean and had everything we required - fridge, kettle, even an ice bucket and torch. Vending machines with good prices.

Cons:

Not a negative - some people have given average scores for this hotel for all sorts of strange reasons. Like one guy saying the other guests were too well heeled for his liking! It's not a hostel - it's a great hotel at a great price.

Close to buses so it’s really easy to jump on one of the tour loop buses
Several shopping centers right next door, with cool stores (highly recommend Phaeton Longbar for fragrance lovers!)
Bigger room than most Japanese hotels
Luggage storage before check in
Friendly staff
Great free toiletries
Quiet
Comfy bed

Cons:

Being close to the station, it means that it’s far from all the big tourist attractions. Not the hotel’s fault, just good to keep in mind that you sort of need to choose between station proximity and attraction proximity!
