Pros:

Notre hôte été très accueillant, bienveillant et gentil.
Il nous a garer la voiture pour plus de simplicité et le petit déjeuner etait copieux et excellent. Le meilleur hôte et petit déjeuner de notre séjour.

Amazing experience in Gjirokaster
Pros:

The place is very cosy, the bed was extremely comfortable, everything super clean and breakfast, probably one of the best breakfast I have had in Albania! Everything homemade there just for us!! With a nice view, and the staff was more than friendly and caring! And the location next to the castle and the centre or Gjirokastra. I would totally recommend Hotel Pashai

Cons:

The location was a bit hard for us to reach by car, but the staff or owner was calling me constantly to check that everything was ok, at the end he ended up picking us up himself to bring us to the hotel, after the checkout, we went out by feet to see the city and he offered to bring the car down so we don't struggle again (we are not good drivers)

Haus in Spitzenlage mit persönlichem Touch
Pros:

Sehr schön gelegenes kleines Hotel mit wenigen Zimmern. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr groß, aber gut geschnitten. Sehr gutes Bad. Die Pächter sind äußerst aufmerksam, sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Da das Navi den Weg nicht orten konnte, wurden wir vom Pächter per Handy und Kamera direkt zum Hotel dirigiert. Die Straße ist Pflaster und etwas steil. Geparkt wird auf einem Platz vor dem Haus. Sehr freundlicher Empfang auf der wunderbaren Terrasse.
Ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Burg und zum Bazar.
Außerordentlich üppiges Frühstuck, alles hausgemacht, süß und salzig.
Wir waren begeistert von dem Hotel und empfehlen es gerne weiter

Cons:

Die Anfahrt mit Auto zum Hotel ist etwas herausfordernd, aber dank der guten Kommunikation ok.

Nice location, family hotel feeling, felt like home
Pros:

Close to the castle and centre, looked like it was run by a family so it gave a feeling of being home rather than a hotel.

Cons:

There were no covers for the blankets.

Pros:

Elke ochtend een uitgebreid ontbijt.
De kamer was ruim en schoon en er was genoeg ruimte om alle kleding uit te pakken.
Vanuit de kamer een geweldig uitzicht over de heuvels en rest van het dorp.

Prima loopafstand naar de old town en kasteel.

Cons:

Zoals waarschijnlijk elk hotel in dit heuvelachtige dorp, was het hotel vrij lastig te bereiken met de auto.
Het was voor mij de eerste dag met een huurauto en dit vroeg wat serieuze aandacht en concentratie om de auto ter plekke te krijgen.

Very lovely rooms and breakfast facilities. About a 5 minute walk away from the town centre.

Cons:

If you are driving be aware that you will have to drive up a steep hill and go through a pretty narrow corridor to reach the parking space. You will also likely require assistance to know where to park as it is not obvious. The walk to and from town is a steep hill but was not a problem for us but could be for someone else.

Pros:

L’accueil du propriétaire a été très chaleureux. Il est vraiment sympathique et serviable. Le petit déjeuner, servi en terrasse, était très bon.

Malgré l’accès difficile en voiture, l’hôtel est très bien situé : au calme et à deux pas du château. Les habitants du quartier sont très gentils et nous ont même aidés avec notre voiture. Une expérience atypique, mais globalement positive !

Cons:

L’arrivée à l’hôtel a été assez compliquée, voire chaotique : la route pour y accéder est en très forte pente et non goudronnée, ce qui la rend difficile, surtout avec une voiture de location. Le parking se résume à une petite place en gravier. Il faut être sûr de soi pour s’y aventurer en voiture !
Petite précision importante : il n’est pas possible d’utiliser du papier toilette, il faut se laver à l’eau, à la manière locale.
