The Manager Mac was very good and very attentive.

Cons:

Initial problem with the TV but sorted by staff member, surprised by the charge for the use of the Car park. Our second night was spoilt by the noise from the connecting room.

Pros:

Thanks for lending me the electric plug with charging adapter for iPhone. I left it in the room together with a long charging cable. You may keep it. I left Hotel at 4 am and as no staff were on duty and I couldn’t find your letterbox, so I left the room key just outside the main entrance door.

Enjoyed the experience I will definitely be coming back.

The location was perfect the staff so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great and food provided during day and at night was lovely.

As in most Pub / Hotel / Accommodation, the bar areas tend to close if it is quiet, thats the same even in the large chain hotels, however we were given plenty of notice and the staff even switched on the hot drinks machine so my business partner could have a hot chocolate to take to her room. We will for sure be staying again as we are in the area 10 plus days over the year
Decent in house WiFi let us watch BBC iPlayer etc via the rooms smart TV

Nothing really, a little traffic noise, but certainly not an interuption

Initially we booked a 3 night stay but because we felt so disappointed we cut our stay short.
Pros:

The room was nicely furnished. The WIFI was easy to connect. The room temperature was nice.

Cons:

The toilet was propped up with a block of wood. One of the curtains was hanging off many of it's hooks. Initially there was no fan in room, until the cleaner brought us one on request. The bathroom entrance carpet gripper was raised approx 1.5cm, and was a hazard for tripping. We booked a twin room with patio and ended up with a double room with window overlooking carpark. We ordered scampi, chips and peas and only received scampi and chips in a foil box, which when ordered we were expected to carry it over ourselves to our room. Our duvet cover was torn in two places at the bottom.

Beautiful lodge to stay in.
Pros:

Beautiful room that we stayed in. Exceptionally clean and lovely decor. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Very friendly staff who made you feel really welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

No negative comments as everything was exceptional.

Lovely staff made it an enjoyable stay. The bar meals were great with fab cocktails and live music too 😊
