Car parking charges!!
Pros:

It had all that’s required.

Cons:

I was charged extra for parking in a dedicated car park. What’s the point of booking. Com discounting costs if an additional charge is applied. Especially one as fundamental as a parking charge in a hotel with a dedicated car park.

Great little getaway
Pros:

The staff were all fantastic. Nothing was to trouble. The rooms were very modern and clean and had everything that was needed.
The bar area was lively and the breakfast was fantastic.

Great value for money, warm and welcoming
Pros:

This hotel had a warm feeling, great location close to the station. The staff, notably Mac, were very friendly and welcoming. The decor was cosy and the food & drinks were great value for money. The homemade cocktails were a highlight!

Great stay, also handy for the local hospital for anyone who has to visit.
Pros:

Very clean, nicely presented and decorated. Lovely room. (Free upgrade) Of particular note was the manager, smart, professional, very attentive to the needs and wellbeing of the guests. He never stopped going round making sure everyone and everything was ok. My partner is manager at a prestigious hotel and even she was impressed with this hotel manager.

Value for money
Pros:

Was in a good location

Cons:

Few minor hiccups

Remote was missing do tv and asked a member of staff about it of which someone came to room to check what model tv was to never return with a remote

When at the meal in the evening we were still eating our starters and a server appeared with the mains when asked if they could be taken back was told well they are ready now so felt rushed to finish starters so could enjoy mains hot food was amazing just felt rushed
