Absolutely perfect stay. Everything was spotless, the staff were lovely, and the whole place was beautiful, stunning sea view. Couldn’t have asked for more.
I liked the closeness to the beach!
Claims to be a dog friendly hotel and room when using booking.com - however, on arrival even after double checking via email the staff were rude / unfriendly around the dog staying. Dogs aren’t allowed in the outdoor area by the pool which seems unfair for a dog friendly hotel! Staff weren’t that pleasant - I was told there were not seats outside for a coffee one more only to walk past and see several free. The staff on the check out were kinder. The pool area could do with being refurbished.
Staff were very helpful, Room was lovely and Quiet, Location was perfect with easy access to all the sea front, beaches and shopping.
Checkin and our upgrade experience was very disappointing. We were told that the system had been down for 2 days! (how can this happen?). Upgrade offered online was different to the one I was offered by reception. It all took far too long waiting to get access to our room (20 minutes). The pool area needs to be better managed as there were not enough sun loungers and no management. We also had to wait for towels to arrive at 8:30 which is 30 minutes after the pool had opened.

Staffing level at breakfast was low and so the experience felt chaotic. One day pastries and yogurts ran out by 9 am which is unacceptable in a 4 star hotel and the rate they are charging
Lovely building, nicely decorated and in a splendid position overlooking the beach near the cliff lift. Room was spacious, very clean, with pleasant decor and new fixtures and fittings. Clean bathroom with lovely walk in shower. Great air conditioning which was much appreciated in the extremely hot weather. Also liked the food in both attached restaurants and enjoyed using the heated outdoor pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.
