Location and historic nature of the building were very very good. The staff we encountered were also super friendly and helpful whenever needed. The rooms were also modern and comfortable while offering a pretty view of the river and surrounding area

Disappointing. I left after one hour.
Pros:

The room looked clean.

Cons:

The room was advertised as having a lake view, but it was actually on the ground floor facing a street and parking area, which was misleading. There was very little privacy, and as I was changing clothes I saw people outside taking photos, they saw that i saw them and it was extremely awkward. It was also quite noisy due to the water mill. When I raised my concerns as I was traveling with my dog and didn’t feel comfortable there, I was told to “just close the curtains,” and that they don’t understand my problem. Overall, the room did not match expectations for the price. I left after one hour and booked a quieter room somewhere else.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden!
Pros:

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns während unseres gesamten Aufenthals rundum wohl gefühlt! Das Hotel ist liebevoll saniert und liegt direkt über dem Wasser, das man die gesamte Zeit rauschen hören kann - wirklich toll! Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Als wir Bescheid gaben, dass wir mit einem Kinderwagen anreisen, wurde uns beispielsweise ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss angeboten, wodurch wir nicht auf den Fahrstuhl angewiesen waren. Besonders begeistert hat uns, dass auf den breiten Fensterbänken Polster liegen, sodass man hierauf gemütlich sitzen und auf das Wasser blicken kann.

Cons:

Der einzige "Nachteil"? Wir hatten überhaupt keine Lust in eins von Lüneburgs schönen Cafés zu gehen! Denn mit einem kostenlosen Heißgetränk aus der Lobby saßen wir in unserem Zimmer auf der gepolsterten Fensterbank direkt über dem rauschenden Wasser viel gemütlicher als in jedem Café! Also nein, uns fallen keine Nachteile ein!

Schönes Hotel, zentral und ruhig
Pros:

Ein wunderbares Hotel in einem schönen alten Gebäude, trotzdem sehr moderne und ruhige Zimmer. Zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten sowohl zum Bahnhof als auch in die Innenstadt. Es gibt kein Frühstück, aber diverse Frühstücksmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und einen Kaffeeautomaten in der Lobby. Die Rezeption ist bis 18:00 Uhr besetzt, falls man später ankommt, holt man sich seine Karte aus dem Schlüsselkasten, das klappt sehr gut. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt und würde hier jederzeit wieder buchen.
