i would stay here again but not for 5 nights
Pros:

the best thing about the hotel is its location. the room was rather big and well designed, and the bed was comfy. lots of free toiletries. tea facilities. decent local breakfast included in the room rate.

Cons:

the staff speaks no English but we made do with the translation apps. cleaning was rather patchy. shower was tired. no privacy in the bathroom with the glass door not reaching the ceiling. no international tv channels. absolutely no storage.

Pleasant stay in a quaint hotel.
Pros:

This is a quaint hotel with very nostalgic vibes. The location is convenient and close to metro lines. The neighborhood is pleasant with some traditional restaurants and also cafes around.

Cons:

Soundproofing is bad, you can hear the noise outside your bedroom. Not easy to location as it is hidden away from the main road.

Pros:

Les photos sont trompeuses sur le standing de l’hôtel.
Le design des chambres est en fait des bablos de mauvaise qualité qui ne fonctionnent pas bien ou pas du tout.
Ne prenez pas l’hôtel pour le petit dej. Notre essai un matin nous a poussé à ne pas le renouveler les suivants

Pros:

Polite and helpful staff!
The property has cats and a rabbit on-site!
Amazing location!

Cons:

Sewer smell from the shower facility in the mornings.
Toilet is separated from the shower which is fine but the toilet's glass door doesn't cover the frame - leading to unfortunate scent incidents.
TV only has 1 English channel, and it is a news channel.
Breakfast was not too special.

Wonderful stay in center Shanghai
Pros:

The mansion and room is superb, well decorated, comfy, beautiful, VERY easy to get to as it is near a metro and the beautiful Huaihai shopping street. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive and even helped with our laundry for 3 days straight. Rooms are smart rooms which are very nice to live in. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again in my next trip.

Nothing. Overall a nice stay.

Très bien situé, look rétro
Pros:

Hôtel charmant caché dans une impasse, excellement situé, en face des lignes de métro 1, 10 et 12. Look rétro avec une belle petite cour intérieur, verdoyante et calme. Accueil excellent et ils sont très réactifs via WeChat, même si pas facile de se comprendre, cela même avec les applis de traduction (ne parle absolument pas l'anglais). Le petit déjeuner se commande 20 min à l'avance (parfois résultat surprenant au regard de ce qui est commandé). La chambre est bien équipée, propre et la literie excellente, thé et bouteilles d'eau mis à disposition chaque jour.

Cons:

Les photos sont quelque peu trompeuses.. La "vue sur jardin" se résumait à une petite fenêtre donnant sur une cour intérieure et avec vis à vis, donc nous fermions le rideau, l'impression de vivre un peu dans une "cave".
Aucun placard donc impossible de ranger ses valises et pas de machine à laver comme indiqué.

Pros:

Excellent location! The metro is very close, there are many different cafes and bars within walking distance, and it's a very beautiful area

Cons:

The room is very small, there was no wardrobe for clothes, the door was broken, and everything happening in the room could be heard in the hallway (I felt uncomfortable). There was no hairdryer
