Relaxing.
Pros:

Great location and a very good breakfast.

Cons:

The painters were working away while we were staying at the hotel. There were strong paint smells and a fair bit of disruption.

Pros:

Très bel établissement, nous avons apprécié les attentions dans la chambre, le petit déjeuner...Le personnel dans l'ensemble très accueillant.

Lovely hotel and staff. Food delicious, but the few things listed below let it down.
Pros:

The room was a good size and the beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and the continental breakfast brought to our table immediately after we were seated was good. We also ate dinner in Fitz's Bar and the staff and food were exceptional here. The brownies in the room on arrival and the brown bread package to take home were a nice touch.

Cons:

The room was very hot and we couldn't turn the heating down. We asked at reception for more tea and milk and had to go back out later in the day to ask again as it hadn't been delivered to the room as promised. When we went down for breakfast, we were waiting almost 10 minutes to be seated, even though there were only two tables occupied in the whole restaurant. There were no staff members anywhere to be seen. There was no acknowledgement of this from the staff member who seated us. The pressure in the shower wasn't very good and the shampoo dispenser was not working.
