Warm rustic feeling, family run hotel with charming decor. We arrived on our bikes and were able to store them in the ski store which was secure. The room was large and had a table with useful bench seats.
Freundliches Personal, gutes Essen
Super super consigliato!
Siamo stati benissimo, ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Staff gentilissimo, camera pulitissima con vista montagna, cibo delizioso!
Era tutto perfetto!
Cortesia e disponibilità di tutto il personale. Struttura bellissima e pulita
We picked it out at the last moment, but never regretted it.
Breakfasts are very nice and tasty (good coffee, too), but the dinners are what really stands out. Great salad bar followed by outstanding four-course degustation dinners. And the desserts! If you enjoy good food, this is worth every penny. Note that they have Wednesays off (well deserved), so no dinner on that day, but that is perfectly workable.
The room was clean, modern and comfortable. Beds just the way I like it, and a selection of small or large pillow was a huge plus. Big bathroom, safe, everything you need. Also nice ski room with lockers and heated skiboot holders!
All in all it is a beautiful family hotel, where you are sure to get above average care and stay in a really nice atmosphere. The owner family and all other personnel were all extremely friendly - and English-speaking!
The location (some 500 meters behind Selva, next to the road) is not perfect, but still good for skiing - 200 meters walk from orange Sella Ronda route, then three short connecting lifts to Ciampinoi/Dantercepies big lifts. It is slightly more difficult to get back on ski from the green Sella Ronda (one extra Ciampinoi ride and than around the mountain down), but you dont have to take your ski off but for the short walk across the road to hotel. You can also ride ski bus, which stops right in front of the hotel, but there is no need really. Be a little careful walking out of the hotel due to the street and traffic outside.
Parking - plenty of spaces on the street outside. You get a parking permit (free) and it works well. Not having to use car to get to the slopes is a big advantage.
