It was an amazing place to stay. Neat n clean. We are really enjoyed the night. And uncle and aunty were treated us very well. The breakfast was nice aswell. We will be back again.

We had such a beautiful experience staying at this homestay in Munroe Island. From the very first moment, we felt truly welcomed.

The hosts are a lovely couple who treated us with so much kindness and care throughout our stay. They made sure we were always comfortable and that we had everything we needed. We never missed a cup of delicious chai, and the food was absolutely amazing — fresh, homemade, and full of flavor.

They also gave us many helpful recommendations about things to do around the island, which made our experience even more special and authentic.

We are so grateful for their warmth and hospitality. Staying here felt like being at home. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Munroe Island.

Tasty breakfast and good ambience

Staying at Sunset Home in Munroe Island was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Nestled in a calm and peaceful island surrounded by the best of nature, this place offers more than just a stay.
Words fall short when it comes to describing the incredible hospitality, love, and care shown by Vimalan Chettan and Radhamani Chichi. Their warmth made our stay unforgettable, something you can only experience here.
The facilities at Sunset Home are what set it apart. The well-maintained, spacious rooms with comfortable beds (easily accommodating 3 adults), Spotlessly clean bathrooms, Perfect location with close proximity to the lake, bus, and auto stands. And above all, the delicious home-cooked meals prepared by Chichi, which is full of flavor and love.
The most attraction of my trip was the boating experience through the serene inland canals, mangrove forests (Kandals), and into the majestic Ashtamudi Lake in a traditional vallom (boat). It was truly a magical and Lovely journey which our family ever had and I suggest It as a must for all travelers.
For solo travelers and families alike, this is one of the safest and most welcoming stays you can find. The affection I received made me feel like Vimalan Chettan was my own elder brother—and I know I’ll meet him again.

I like the kerala treditional look of interior room and garden
It was a very affordable homestay. Very quite and convenient ambience which is equally good for family and couples. The room is so good and clean. All the amenities provided by them are very nice. The owner of sunset Homestay was a very helpful and friendly. I will recommend the same to all my friends. ❤️

Our stay at here was truly amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and comfort of a real home. The hospitality was exceptional, and every little detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The rooms were clean and beautifully maintained, making our stay incredibly comfortable.

What we loved the most was the homely ambiance—it never felt like we were away from home. The surroundings were peaceful, and the overall experience was beyond our expectations.
