Athena Hotel

In close proximity to Paddington Station. Lots of restaurants and the Regent’s Park in easy walking didtance.
Nothing luxurious, but all we were needing for a couple of nights in central London.
Very friendly and service minded staff. We got upgraded to a better room free of charge.
We would definately stay at Hotel Athena again when needing a central London hotel.

First of all, we arrived very early for check-in. The girl at the reception, with her wonderful sense of humor, welcomed us and did everything she could to provide us with the room within an hour, even though normally we wouldn’t have had it for another seven hours. The room was clean, and the cleaning lady came in every day and took great care of us. There was also an elevator, which accommodations like this usually don’t have. The location is very good, close to the metro, so you have easy access to everywhere. I highly recommend it.

Near Paddington station. Bathroom is refurbished and there was no carpet in the room.

Trevlig personal. Hjälpsamma Fick hjälp då vårt rum inte var bra. Fick ett nytt rum.
Nära till tunnelbana och bussar fanns flera restauranger kan rekommendera Bella italia god mat trevlig personal.

Everything I needed was there and available plus when I asked for some spare milks to make a cup of tea the staff member was more than obliging and very helpful. Everyone was helpful and polite. It was a pleasure to stay. Breakfast was tasty and easy to find what we wanted. The room was small but laid out well and clean so I was more than satisfied! The bed was (although quite short - don’t expect to fit if you are more than 6’) comfortable and had spare pillows.

パディングトン駅に近い、バス停に近い、静か、ちょっとした買い物、食事に便利です。

こちらのホテルは短期の単独出張であれば良いのかもしれないが、二人での3連泊にはちょっと辛い空間。
シャワー時、タオル掛けがない事には驚きました。
フック一つでも構いません、施設様に準備下さる事をお願いしたいです。
（タオル掛けは2メートル先のトイレ裏の高い場所にあるタオルラックしかなく不便でした）
湯沸かしポットの中はとても汚いので要注意。お湯を沸かすとコップが水垢（石灰？）だらけになるので気をつけて下さい。
個人的に狭い部屋は気にしません。しかし不便さ痛感の荷物置き場は高さ150cm位の作り付けられた台の上。
身長160ちょいの自分にはスーツケースの中身を確認することとスーツケースを載せるのがハードでした。
スーツケース持ち歩く海外旅行者には不向きかもしれません。でもバックパックオンリーの方は大丈夫。

Posizione molto buona e vicino alla metro. Ha anche tanti ristoranti vicini

Nice position. Nice cleaning service everyday. Nice staffs. Perfect family friendly ground floor room. Will do visit again and recommend to other family group to visit.
