It's a beautiful building with gorgeous architecture and character. The staff were unobtrusive but kind and helpful.
My room was in a cottage at the back with very steep and narrow stairs to my room in the attic. If you have any mobility issues, check where the room is. Those stairs are not for the faint of heart!
My TV only seemed to receive world cup football but no matter. The bed was comfortable and that was what I needed.
Did I say anything to staff to allow for any rectification? No. It would have meant tackling those stairs again...
The location ambience and staff , very friendly and welcoming.
Menu could be better
Quiet location, excellent food and friendly staff.Noth

Location was nice
The staff at breakfast time were very pleasant. One of the bar staff was polite and pleasant to us on arrival.
The reception/ manager was surly, unhelpful, and extremely unwelcoming. Our room was at the top of two flights of very steep and narrow stairs, in a cottage at the back of the pub. I thought we would be staying in the pub but we were allocated this room which was entirely unsuitable for two older people and a very elderly assistance dog. The pub was full so we could not move. Moreover, there was no fire exit from this top floor room, only the steep and narrow staircase that were a trouble for us all to get up and down. I thought it unsafe and was very glad to leave.
Everything the staff were excellent and caring easy to get on with. They even managed to sort out a meal for us even though fully booked.
Would definitely stay here again
Room 5 If i am to be picky there was no electric socket on one side of the bed to plug anything into as I need to use a cpap machine at night.

The location was lovely and quiet and set in beautiful countryside. The Inn was traditional, lovely and clean. The room was comfortable, the food and bar lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was very good value for money. I would definitely recommend the Amberley Inn.
Nothing
Not much. The food was average. The staff was friendly and helpful. Nice garden patio but only picnic tables to sit at. Not a chair to be found.
It’s misrepresentation online- the pictures are much better than the actual property. Small rooms, horrible room access, expensive for what we got.
Comfortable and cosy
They are undergoing updates which the staff managed as best they could, but breakfast took a while etc
Lovely place with stunning views over the valley. Rooms were spacious & comfortable. Ours had a four poster bed. Food was excellent catering to various dietary needs. Plenty of choice for the gluten-free.Dogs were also welcome. Will definitely staying at The Amberley Inn again.
The main entrance stepped out onto a main road which many motorists seemed to ignore speed limit. Shame on them in such a beautiful village
The location and inn were amazing. Lovely area of the country. Great food and beer. Very helpful staff.
Long delays for food. It didn't bother us, as we were enjoying ourselves so much, but others may be bothered by that.
The friendly, welcoming, polite , informative staff and owners. The breakfast was exceptional, very good locally sourced produce
We liked everything
Very pleasant friendly staff with good food.
It was easy to access parking was good. Room is spacious and clean.
The staircase was very narrow, the key holder so big and noisy.
The location was lovely & the room was clean bedding & wash facilities clean
