Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben.
Pros:

Das Ambiente war genau so wie mann es sich im Engadin wünscht, rustikal, gemütlich, riecht Arvenholz. Sehr gute Engadiner Spezialitäten im Restaurant gegessen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Tolles Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Scuol, im schönen historischen Stadtteil.
Pros:

Das verwinkelte Gebäude liegt in einem sehr schönen historischen Teil von Scuol, die Zimmer sind nicht eng, sondern angenehm (zwei Personen) und tip-top sauber. Ski-/Sportbus der Gemeinde zur Gondel fährt alle 15min 3 min vom Gabriel entfernt. Vom hellen Frühstücksraum sieht man in Gärten und die Rückseite von alten Scheunen mit vielen Pflanzen und Vögeln und hervorheben möchte ich das Frühstück selbst, unsere „ok“ Erwartung wurde total übertroffen, mit gutem Kaffee, offensichtlich frischgebackenem Bauern- und Zopfbrot, Käse- und Fleischauswahl, und eben diese Aussicht, die einfach glücklich machte. Es gibt einen kleinen Raum, wo man sich am Nachmittag einen Tee oder einen Kaffee holen kann, mit Büchern und unten liegen auch ein paar Zeitschriften auf zum ausleihen. Vor dem Zubettgehen schauten wir jeweils von unserem Zimmer noch rasch die Aussicht auf die Kirche und die Dächer von Scuol im Schneetreiben. Mit der Gästekarte hatten wir 20% Rabatt auf das grosse Bad von Scuol mit Sauna, Aussen- und Innenpool, dass 5min zu Fuss entfernt ist. Fazit: sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis, wir hoffen, wir kommen wiedermal!

Cons:

Das Hotel lässt sich von zwei Strassen her erreichen, die von der Hauptstrasse (respektive dem Bad von Scuol) runter führen, die eine ist sehr steil und bei Schneetreiben rutschig - wir empfehlen daher auch zu Fuss der Strasse zu folgen, die am Gemeindehaus vorbeiführt.

Sehr schöne Lage umgeben von alten Engandiner Häusern.
5 min. zu Fuss zum Thermalbad.
Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, bequeme Betten, alles sauber.
Das Personal war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Wegen Schneefall, am Morgen sehr laute Schneepflüge welche die Durchgangstrasse räumten.

Very nice hotel in a great place in Engadin. :)
Pros:

The owner was very proactive offering rebate options for the car shuttle train and options with the bus. Very friendly personnel.

Cons:

I know I reserved a single bed, but they are always uncomfortable. :)
