Khajuraho - perhaps our best place we stayed at in India
Pros:

The staff were amazing. Once again, they couldn't do enough to help us. Charlie, in particular, was always there, always willing to assist. He really pushed the boat out to make our stay in Khajuraho a memorable one. The chef was also brilliant. A very happy and smiley bloke, who specially cooked us a dish of harabara khabab (but seriously overcharged us for them, unfortunately.)
The hotel itself is one of the nicest we have stayed at in India. Well situated, with lots of trees, so you wake up to the sounds of birds.
They arranged a trip to a National Park for us, where we actually saw a Tiger 🐅!
Charlie took us on a ride in the hotel's brand new Tuk-tuk to see all the temples and also took us on a guided tour through the Old Town, where he lives.
