This hotel was perfectly upgraded and an easy drive to Devil's Lake State Park.
Pros:

The location was perfect. It was quiet and conveniently close to where we needed to go. Check-in was very easy and stress free! The room was nicely upgraded and decorated. Also, room had plenty of space and had everything you would need in a hotel.

Cons:

My only suggestion would be to upgrade the towels a bit. They were very small and reminded me of showering in gym class. The blow dryer did not blow warm or hot air.

A nice stop after a long drive
Pros:

Beautiful and off the beaten path, sitting on the lake. Lady at Lucky’s Bar and Grill was very kind and helpful in connecting us with the owner for check in.

Cons:

A little confused on check in, no TP, and battery missing in remote, with no front desk we were unsure how to fix these issues.

Brand new and a beautiful location. Bar and grill assocuatew was very good with live music.

Cons:

The towels looked like they reused the old ones from the old facility. Same with some of the linens.
There was no TV in the bedroom. Very few decorations on the walls. Looked very baron/institutional. Maybe not finished? No staff on site. Just a number to contact one if you pass key wasn't emailed to you...Ours wasn't. Had to wait a bit for the "on call contact" to get back to us to in order to get room info

This is absolutely a hidden gem!
Pros:

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed at Lucky's for an evening while attending the citywide Waunakee garage sales. This was our first time at Lucky's, but it will not be our last! All of us were so utterly impressed with the location, views, accommodations and the food at the accompanying restaurant!

Thank you Lucky's for elevating our Mother-daughter get away to the next level!
