Looking for a quiet getaway in a cabin with all of the modern perks? This is the place for you :)
Pros:

I'm so happy I stumbled upon this location while looking for a get away for my partner's 30th birthday. When I initially booked, I only booked for two nights. Adding on an extra night was easy and I was left carefree after chatting extensively with a staff member of Tofte Trails. My partner and I loved this cabin! It was the perfect location for us. We spent our days hiking trails near Silver Bay and right down the road at Oberg trailhead. We also spent a day exploring Grand Marais. The location of the cabins is about a half hour from each location. The cabin had so many great features. We loved the projector , towel warmer, and all of the excellent kitchen equipment because it allowed us to make it our own home for a few days. The evenings were spent using the Solo Stove and watching the sun set and moonrise. We were even lucky enough to see a bear right outside the patio area! Without a doubt, we will be back :)

Cons:

There is an extremely popular trailhead about a 5 minute car drive from the cabins. While it was pretty quiet in the cabin, that car traffic is surprisingly loud for how isolated the area actually is.

gorgeously curated serene cabin
Pros:

The cabin is just gorgeous, it is beautifully designed with quality items and the details were just wonderful. You can tell the amount of love and care the owners have for this property. We absolutely LOVED the view of the trees from our bed, it was such a relaxing environment to spend a weekend in. The bed was very comfortable and the double shower was fantastic!! This was the perfect getaway cabin with wonderful amenities. We will absolutely be visiting again!

Cons:

We truly had no issues with our stay.
The owners did a thoughoutful job of ensuring that guests understand that since you are in the woods, there will be bugs and and other wildlife and to therefore plan accordingly (bug spray, mindful of food storage).
