Hotel mit tollem Pool und Blick aufs Meer
Pros:

Der Pool war ein Traum, das Personal sehr freundlich und darum bemüht, es den Gästen schön zu machen.
Das Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gut und es gibt viel Auswahl.
Wir haben nach einer Nacht ein Upgrade bekommen. Danke noch mal an Tina, die Dame an der Rezeption.

Cons:

Das Hotel sieht ein wenig so aus, als sei es in die Jahre gekommen. Gerade die kleinen Bungalows, die hauptsächlich für Familien gedacht sind, sind etwas schlicht für den Preis.

For us, the best place to stay in Esterillos – beautiful, cozy, and highly recommended!
Pros:

The Marala Hotel is situated slightly elevated above the main road, surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful vegetation. From the hotel, you can enjoy a lovely view of the nearby sea.

In our opinion, having a car is very important if you want to reach the beach, nearby restaurants, a pharmacy, shopping facilities, etc.

We had two beautiful double rooms for ourselves and our teenagers. Based on comments from other travellers, we deliberately chose rooms on the garden side overlooking the greenery. In hindsight, we were very happy with this choice, as the traffic noise from the main road was quite noticeable. The restaurant and pool area could also be heard at times. For us, the garden-side rooms were therefore definitely the more pleasant option.

We booked the hotel with breakfast and were very satisfied. The breakfast was delicious and generous. We would especially like to highlight the friendly and helpful staff, who always made a great effort to assist us and were very attentive throughout our stay.

We felt very comfortable at the Marala Hotel and would definitely recommend it. If we travel through the area again, we would be happy to stay here again.

Un petit moment de farniente
Pros:

Les chambres sont tres belles , nous avions celle a l'étage vue sur la mer.
La piscine est tres belle, et le personnel tres agréables.
Le restaurant est tres bon ( un des meilleurs de nos 3 semaines au Costa rica ) mais attention les prix sont élevés

Cons:

Le lieu un peu isolé et l'accès a la mer a pied faisable mais il faudra marcher un peu le long de la national.

Bonito lugar pero con aspectos a mejorar

En las habitaciones tipo bungalow se escuchaban las tuberías de agua debido a la inestabilidad de la precio de agua. Aparte había un perro dóberman suelto que causaba incomodidad debido a que le ladraba y gruñía a las personas que pasábamos cerca, causaba nervios que un perro así ande sin correa por las instalaciones y metiéndose en áreas comunes. El perro se defecto justo a la par de nuestro auto, en la puerta del conductor y nadie recogió el excremento. Resultó bastante desagradable tener eso justo a la par del auto, con ese olor y tamaño justo donde tenemos que subirnos. Deberían implementar políticas más rígidas para los dueños de las mascotas que se hospedan en el hotel ya que estas situaciones resultan incómodas para los demás huéspedes y por ende, pierden clientes.

Excelente chegada na Costa Rica!

Tudo muito bom! Atendimento excelente e o restaurante é maravilhoso.
A localização é muito boa, para quem está de carro. O visual da piscina é muito bonito.

Cons:

O quarto que ficamos inicialmente era muito quente mas depois nos realocaram e ficou perfeito.
