Literally one if the best hotels I have stayed in Australia.
Pros:

The design, the lounge in the rooms, the Reading Room and the staff were very welcoming, especially Amelia on reception.

Cons:

Nothing.

Great location, just don’t stay in room 15
Pros:

The room we booked was lovely and large and the bathroom was fantastic. The heated floors and window above the bath are just the best. Location in Orange was perfect.

Cons:

Do not book room 15. We were above the shared lobby area which a large group of guests used as a gathering place to have drinks and snacks. This was bearable in the early hours although not great if you want to rest in peace but unbearable in the late evenings. This was managed by a call to the hotel manager who is not on site and took some time to resolve. The doors are just not soundproof so while the hotel is really lovely it’s not a comfortable stay for this reason.

Would stay again, beautifully clean and decorated.
Pros:

Beautiful old home that has been converted into a boutique hotel. Location was great a short walk into town, dedicated parking, shared lounge areas with fireplaces.

Cons:

Our bathroom was absolutely freezing. It was like stepping onto an ice rink. We later found out they forgot to turn on the floor heating which finally worked on our last day, we stayed 3 nights in total.

Unique property in a great location.
Pros:

The accommodation was beautifully presented and the location was excellent. The building and decor gave it a unique appeal.

Cons:

I prefer a bathroom with a door . The stairs were quite steep but there were other rooms without stairs that would suit.

Best stay on our Adelaide to Brisbane road trip
Pros:

Magnificent combination of the old house and new wing was brilliant. Close to some great restaurants and walking distance from the High Street in Orange a lovely town

Very comfortable and does well what it sets out to do.
Pros:

Clean, new, great interior design

Cons:

It doesn’t have a ‘lobby bar’ or a cafe. So it is somewhat minimalist,Ike a hotel version of a Bed n Breakfast.

Totally charming stylish boutique hotel . Didn’t miss a beat everything was great . The decor was so gorgeous .congratulations Louise Spicer with your amazing style .

Cons:

The room was clean bed was comfy , layout was easy ,bathroom was so fresh with clean lines and beautiful big towels. Breakfast was fast fresh and delicious.

Pros:

It was a beautiful room and the staff were very freindly. The firepace in the common area was lovely and we enjoyed relaxing there with a wine after dinner.

Cons:

It was overpriced, very expensive. The breakfast was extremely average - very little choice and not well executed.
