Hotel nice, breakfast lovely, check-in awful.
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic! Staff were friendly, quickly replacing items that had run out and the choices were fantastic! The room was a good size and had all of the amenities we needed :)

Cons:

The lady that checked us in was rude and useless. She was more interested in looking at what her colleague was doing than serving us. I had 2 small children and 4 heavy suitcases with me, we'd just got off a flight after a long day of travelling and she simply told me I needed to pay up front and handed me the key. No direction as to where to go next or where the room was or how to get breakfast in the morning. I had to ask where to go and she just pointed to the lift and said use your key card.
I then spent the next 10 minutes firstly making the lift work, then trying to work out which floor our room was on. I then struggled to walk the entire length of the hotel with 2 children and 4 suitcases across the thickest carpet I have ever come across. (It was lovely, but totally impractical for anyone with suitcases, which I can imagine would be most people at an airport hotel). It really put a massive dampener to our impression of the hotel.

Excellent convenient hotel which we will definitely use again.
Pros:

Friendliness and helpfulness of every member of staff we came across.
Lovely atrium area and great food in restaurant. Very convenient for Terminal 2 Manchester.
Lovely room with excellent aircon!

Cons:

Excellent staff and lovely hotel.
Pros:

Our plane was severely delayed and we arrived over 4 hours late. We were given a complimentary extra hour before checkout which was perfect. I would highly recommend the staff for their friendliness and professionalism and will definitely stay here again if needed.
