Relaxed and looked after by a lovely team
Pros:

Beautiful garden in a quiet street all in walking distance from the heritage area. The staff led by manager Mr. George were so friendly and accommodating truly appreciated their hospitality and care.

Cons:

Lovely bungalows in a beautiful garden with a pool!

Perfect little place to escape the bustle of Fort Kochi.
Pros:

The staff were lovely - so friendly and super helpful.
The room was lovely - with a huge bed.
Nicely kept garden and pool.
Great breakfast

Cons:

Nothing - would happily come back and will recommend to others.
Possibly the only drawback was that our bedroom door was right next to the reception desk - but next time, we will book a garden room.

Outstanding value, great service and location.
Pros:

Beautiful garden, lovely pool, fabulous breakfast, lunch and dinner. Right in the centre of all the interesting locations in Fort Kochi and close to some great alternative restaurants. Staff all friendly, helpful and professional. Outstanding value for money.

Cons:

Room was lovely but some breakages and elderly fittings needed replacing and in need of a deep clean here and there.

Great staff, great location.
Pros:

All the staff were fantastic - George was so helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay enjoyable.

Cons:

For the price, Alfred Place is great value.

Nice pool in walking distance to sites and restaurants
Pros:

I liked the pool and breakfast and it was in walking distance to everything. The bed was also really comfortable.

Cons:

The WiFi in my room didn’t really work and there wasn’t hot water. It’s much more expensive than other places of its level so it should have these amenities.

Comfortable Stay with Homely Vibes!
Pros:

I had a wonderful experience at Alfred Place Homestay. The property is clean, well-maintained, and located in a peaceful neighborhood. The rooms were spacious and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
The staff were very welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed.

Nice but could be much better.
Pros:

The location was great, right at fort Cochi and close to the Biennale venues. The garden was beautifully designed and kept. The room and the swimming pool were clean and comfortable.

Cons:

The WiFi wasn’t working which was a major issue. Also the breakfast was very poor to the extent that on the third day we decided to eat out. There is almost nothing other than some Indian fried dough and very spicy Indian curries. Also, while the room was very clean, for some reason the common toilet near the pool was always very dirty like as if it had never been cleaned. Despite the fact that we warned the management about it, it remained that way throughout our stay. Other than that, the staff is helpful and kind and other guests were very decent.
