1) confirm price before arriving! I confirmed the price and on departing and with the very poor exchange rate they use there was a large discrepancy. I always allow room for exchange rate but this was way over the top. Luckily I found the price quoted but still they wanted to argue about it luckily our driver stepped in and also complained and stated we had it confirmed
2) pay as you go- I choose to get a drink from the menu in my room. Went to reception and ordered the drink was told to sit in the very hot dining room and after sweating enough I went back to reception to ask what was going on?? Oh we get the drink now. Took a couple of minutes was warm milk with a little ice and even less ice cream. I always pay as I go so I know my budget so went to pay they wrote 440 then plus 10% so the bill came to 484. I said no it was 400 plus 10% then he grabbed the menu at reception where a sticker was placed that food prices are 10% more. I don’t mind paying for anything but then they need to change the prices on ALL menus in the hotel not just at reception but in the room as well as I double checked and the price increase was NOT on any of the menus in the rooms
2) my AC didn’t work well took 8-10 hours before room was cool had to sleep with the AC and fan on and still woke sweating
3) watch locking your door some doors don’t close properly and then don’t lock
Grande chambre, Clim
Nicest, most welcoming people! The rooms were clean and nice, and the food was amazing! Thank you for having us!!
The location is quite good as I could reach the expected destination very easy
Meals and the cleanliness is the main concern
The location
Cleanliness. Especially mosquito nets are sweat smell
The hotel’s location is its strongest asset, offering excellent and easy access to both Yala National Park and Kiri Vehera. It remains a very convenient spot for anyone looking to explore the local sights and religious landmarks in the area. Food quality is okay.
Unfortunately, the property’s maintenance has declined significantly, turning what used to be my favorite go-to spot into a major disappointment. During my stay in Room 109, I encountered unacceptable hygiene standards with the towels and linens, and the mattress was so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep. To make matters worse, the AC fluctuated constantly, and the room lock was broken, which left me feeling so unsafe and dissatisfied that I checked out after only one night of my two-night booking.
