Limpio, vistas y cerca del tren!
Pros:

El lugar es muy bonito las camas cómodas, estaba muy limpio, el chico que lo gestiona muy atento. Muy cerca de la estación de Dambulla Railway para coger el famoso tren que pasa por Ella.

Nada, todo ha estado muy bien.

Pros:

The location is great, it's not in the city centre but really walkable to it, something like 15-20mins. And you got peace and serenity. The room is super nice, air-con equipped, clean and comfy bed, even got a balcony to sit and chill. And the host Amila is a very friendly and kind guy, made sure I had a comfy stay, and we had nice talk (sorry for taking your time). I couldn't ask for more. Thanks Amila!

A great place to stay
Pros:

I stayed 2 nights in the Serenity which was conveniently located close to the town centre. The room was spacious and clean, with tea/coffee making facilities available.
Added bonus is the living / dining area with a mini fridge.
The host, Amila, was very friendly and provides local information if needed.

Host is very kind and helpful. Room is basic but comfortable. Bathroom is clean and shower good. Ok for one night.

Only stayed one night but host was very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but had all the we needed. Had hot water and shower was good. Bathroom was clean. The location seemed quite central but only stayed one night and got there late afternoon and left early next morning so not sure how central.

Cons:

Nowhere to put anything. The room was a family room but only two of us stayed. If there was a family it would be very tight as it has two large double beds and no room for anything else.

Pros:

To dom gospodarza i mimo ze miał remont w jednej części , musiał zmienić nam układ pokoi to bardzo się postarał, śniadania przygotował przed czasem , dom jest czysty i zadbany, ciepła woda a nawet mozliwość prania. Bylismy tylko noc ale to bardzo dobre miejsce i mili gospodarze.

Cold damp and out of the way.
Pros:

Difficult to find anything to like - the 'hotel' is not a hotel per se but rather a couple of rooms in a private house. The owner and his wife were nice enough but this place is very basic.

Cons:

Arrangements for entry and breakfast timing were made out to be an issue. The hotel is not marked as such and is located down a dark back street. The room was very cold and the blankets supplied were not enough to alleviate this. There is a shared kitchen which gave the place the feel of a hostel rather than a hotel.

Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Sehr komfortabel, tolle Betten, geräumig,
die erste Unterkunft bislang, wo Lene Kabel aus Decken und Wänden gingen und alle Lampen funktionierten 🙂. Sehr gut instand gehalten. Sehr sauber!

Cons:

Am Rand von Badulla gibt es eine Mülldeponie. Der Gestank bedeckt große Bereiche der Stadt und ist auch in der Unterkunft spürbar. Dafür können die Besitzer jedoch nichts.

A very nice stay with a kind and helpful host
Pros:

We stayed for one night before taking the train the next day, and we honestly wished we could have stayed longer.
Amila, the owner is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always available if you need anything. He gave us very helpful advice and even arranged a tuk-tuk for us to go to the train station, which made everything so easy. We really appreciated his kindness !
The room and the common areas are very clean and well equipped (tea, fridge, kettle, soap, towels, etc.). Everything was comfortable and thoughtfully prepared.
We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place !

Wonderful apartment to stay
Pros:

Lovely apartment. Perfect for 2 couples. Super comfy beds. We loved the veranda. The host was really helpful and accommodating and gave excellent recommendations. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great short stay
Pros:

We only stayed there for one night but it had everything we needed. The host was great, really nice and super helpful. Even organised a Tuktuk to the train station in the morning. For the price and a short stay really great!

Cons:

Nothing really, a bit loud at night but I think it was because of a party in the city on the weekend
