Just about everything was great: location, breakfast (in silence!), clean and comfortable room and nice staff.
No negatives except for the price being fairly steep and parking is $26 per day.

The building is incredible. The food was tasty and healthy with a nice variety.
Everything was clean and calm.
The location is excellent to enjoy Old Town Quebec.
Nothing.
Très calme comme endroit. Idéal pour le ressourcement.

The place was clean, the staff were good to us.
Monastery experience was mediocre. We sensed that they were using the “sustainability” excuse to cheapen on what we get: barely any tissues in the bathroom, no mini fridge (not mentioned when we booked),room only had a bed (literally). Especially for the price we paid (almost 400$) when other hotels offer MUCH more and a better experience for less.

Staying at Monastère des Augustines is truly a unique experience. I loved the peacefulness of the environment and how they kept the authenticity of the monastery while still making it a comfortable place to stay. The museum was incredibly insightful and interesting. Eating meals in silence was a new and welcome experience.
The only negative experience was partaking in the open buffet dinner and then finding out that I was being charged $56 for the small amount that I ate, especially when the soup was cold and the waiter came and took my plate and gave me the bill before I had even finished my cup of tea and the one small pastry I had on my napkin. So basically, I couldn't even go back to the buffet to try things that I didn't take in my first helping. To be charged $56 for a small plate of salad, and the aggressive way in which the waiter got me to close out the bill was shameful. Had I known, I would never have eaten there.
