Convenient location. Very close to Jiefangbei, there’s a number of Michelin star restaurants in the shopping mall downstairs for those who don’t eat local spicy food.

I traveled with my boyfriend and we found the facility beautiful and definitely worth the price. I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it was, considering how well maintained and nice everything was.
The location was great. Close to Times Square and right next to street food markets with beautiful surroundings.
The shopping mall inside the hotel was really nice and there was many things to buy or do, and the garden was also a lovely~
The staff was very nice, and even after we checked out early, they kindly let us keep our key card to use some of the facilities since we had spare time before heading to the airport.

Hyatt Regency Metropolitan Chongqing exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect—right in the city center with direct access to Raffles City, shopping, and dining. The room was modern, spacious, and very clean, with a comfortable bed and beautiful city views.
The staff were professional and friendly, check-in was smooth, and the facilities were well maintained. Overall, a fantastic stay and highly recommended for anyone visiting Chongqing.

The location of the hotel is exceptional. It's less than 100m away from Jie Fang Bei and all the nearby shopping malls, restaurants and convenient stores. It's literally the center of the city. You can't get better location than this. The subway station is also very close. But that's not it, all major tour sites are within reach. Shi Ba Ti (18 steps) are within walking distance (10min), Hong Ya Dong is also walking distance. Love the location.
The renovation of the rooms and bathroom shows signs of aging. You can see the yellow marks, moulds near the silicone in the bathroom, which makes the 5 star hotel not so glamourous. I would strongly suggest the hotel to upgrade the rooms.
Having said that, for the location convenience, I would still stay in this hotel next time when visiting Chongqing
The Hyatt is right in the middle of the pedestrian area , but still quiet. Fantastic facility with a pool , sauna and a decent gym . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here , one of the best and a great price ( pro tip - the earlier the booking the cheaper it is ) . Had an issue in our room , they moved us to another room with an upgrade. Well done Hyatt Regency
