I checked in during the afternoon, exhausted from a 24‑hour flight. The receptionist was polite and courteous, explaining everything clearly. I was assigned Room 54 and directed to the lift, which looked like a cramped single‑door compartment. At just 5 feet tall with only one suitcase and a small cabin trolley, I still found it uncomfortably congested.
Once in the room, I collapsed on the bed. After waking, I noticed a damp smell. Hoping fresh air would help, I opened the window — only to be shocked by multiple tiny spider babies running across the frame. It was obvious the window hadn’t been cleaned or opened in some time, and it seemed to have become a breeding ground. This was extremely unsettling.
The next morning at breakfast, the room was very small with limited options. The lady there was kind enough to make me coffee and offer fruit, but the fruit did not look fresh. I settled for a croissant and a small yogurt tub. On leaving, I noticed the roof leaking, with a bucket placed underneath to catch dripping water — despite no rain outside. Damp patches on the walls confirmed ongoing seepage issues.
As someone with asthmatic condition and atopic dermatitis, this environment was unhealthy for both my lungs and skin. Cleanliness and hygiene standards were clearly compromised. My colleagues even reported stained sheets in their rooms; thankfully mine was spared, which may be the only reason I managed to sleep.
After spending just one night and the following morning, my colleagues and I decided to leave the place immediately. One of our colleagues informed the staff about the issues we faced within hours of check‑in, but they showed no interest, no apology, and simply agreed that we should move elsewhere if we felt so. This lack of accountability was unacceptable.
If you suffer from respiratory or skin conditions, or if you value basic cleanliness and hygiene, I strongly advise avoiding this place.

Location was quite good, but that is as far as I can complement. The photo's on the hotel are nothing like what we stayed in for the one night.
The hotel was old, leaking roof going into a bucket in the corridor. The rooms were very old and basic with a strong damp smell. The paint was flaking off the roof in the bathroom with black mould in places. There were hairs around the sink and bath and towels were old with holes in them.
Unfortunately, there was nothing about the property that met our expectations. The condition of the hotel, cleanliness standards, room quality, and response to our concerns were all disappointing, leading us to leave and find alternative accommodation.
The property did not meet the standard advertised online or the standard reasonably expected for the price charged. The reception and common areas appeared poorly maintained, including visible dirt and buckets collecting water from a leaking ceiling. The room was not adequately maintained, with spiders on the walls and torn, stained bedding. Breakfast quality was disappointing, and hygiene standards appeared below expectations.
Most concerning was the response when we raised these issues. No manager was made available, no alternative room was offered, and no effort was made to address our concerns. As a result, we chose to leave the hotel and secure alternative accommodation.
Esperienza deludente. Le foto dell’hotel non rispecchiavano per niente la realtà: tutto sembrava molto più curato online. La posizione vicino alla stazione rendeva l’ambiente molto rumoroso, sia di giorno che di notte. Anche le camere erano poco curate e la colazione non all’altezza delle aspettative. Sinceramente non mi è sembrato di vivere un soggiorno in Costa Azzurra. Per quello che viene mostrato e promesso, mi aspettavo decisamente di meglio.
