Owner was nice & responsive, but basic facilities were not quite up to standards
Pros:

Location is good

Cons:

Facilities not good, no hot water, no heat, toilet not flushing. They tried to fix it for 3 hours. Moved rooms twice… same problem…. Finally moved into my friend’s room

Very nice stay with lots of great excursion help
Pros:

Nice clean and functional room, good breakfast available for extra cost. Train station pick up offered and other sight seeing/ excursions and transfers available for additional cost. Small convenience store on site has everything one needs.

Cons:

Water flow in shower was very low and window to patio could use an additional sheer curtain, to prevent everyone walking by looking in.

Pros:

It was close to the panoramic hotel so we went there to have a drink for sunset and enjoy the view

Cons:

The first room hadn’t been cleaned and there was poop in the toilet…
Second room, there was no water coming out of the hot faucet in the shower. It wasn’t very clean either.
Contrary to what was written, they do not offer breakfast, not even coffee.
The owners did the minimal to stay polite. The hotel was pretty much empty and they could have given us other oops that had a view on the sunset and seemed more finished.

Pros:

Friendly staff. Well located for us near the train station, under 1hr walk from the adventure park and close to several hiking trails.

Cons:

Nowhere to buy a beer.

Pros:

Nice hotel very close to the train station. The room was comfortable and clean, with hot water and good heating. Free transport to Divisadero station if needed. There's a convenience store on site.

Cons:

The restaurant is only open for breakfast. Not a big deal but something to be aware of.
