Cons:

I recently stayed at Hornbill Resort in Pulau Pangkor for 3 days and 2 nights. The location is very strategic, close to the beach, and convenient for exploring the island.

However, I feel that the facilities could be improved. The room was very basic, with only two power sockets, one for the TV and one extra. Thankfully, we brought an extension cord, which helped us charge our devices. There were no toiletries provided, so we were lucky to have brought our own shower gel, toothbrushes, and other essentials.
The TV only had one channel (TV1), and we couldn’t change to any other channels. Additionally, the swimming pool wasn’t cleaned regularly, which was a concern, especially since the resort was quite crowded during the weekend and public holiday.

For RM208 per night (excluding tax) and no breakfast included, I found the price a bit steep considering the limited amenities.

Overall, while the location is great, I hope the resort can improve its facilities to offer better value and comfort for guests.
