Great location, lovely food and very polite staff especially the bar staff, very accommodating!
I would argue £165 per night is a little extreme for the supposed “deluxe room”.
Location amazing. Great that my dog was welcome. Lovely room. Warm. Friendly. Clean.
Noisy at night due to various possibly extractors. Not sure but everything in my room was off. Also there is a £100 insurance they take off your card when you arrive. I stayed last night. I’m hoping for the refund asap!! The room was left immaculate! I’ve emailed. I’m sure it’s just an oversight.
The hotel was lovely! Very clean, modern, great bar areas and we had a delicious meal. Very comfy beds and decor. Staff were all very friendly and helpful!
My only negative is the thin walls. We were on the first floor and the room above came in late and had their own party which was very noisy

Drove 4 hours with our dog over the festive period. On arrival, we were informed that our room had been double booked due to a system error and could not stay at the property. Paid in advance for a deluxe room in a 4 star hotel, but the hotel would only offer a refund or 3 star hotel accommodation further out of the centre. No other dog friendly hotels available because it was over Xmas and did not want to drive all the way back home in the pitch black across mountains. Forced to accept the 3 star alternative which was significantly below standard of what we had booked at this hotel. To make matters worse, the manager (Matt) had a terrible attitude and provided the worst customer service we’ve ever received in our lives. Definitely would not recommend.
Lovely place to stay with so much to see around the area. Respectful people and staff, good food and room service.
The room was excellent.Staff sorted out problems quickly.Overall it was the best stay that I ever had.
The staff were without exception exceedingly helpful and accommodating.
Not their fault at all but the car charger website had gone down. Staff super supportive. No issues at all about letting me leave car on charge well after checkout time.
Took two meals with family - both were thoroughly enjoyable.
Absolutely gorgeous surroundings and beautiful interior, rooms and lounge/restaurant. Great location so close to the town too, everything is within walking distance.
We would have really loved if breakfast was included as it’s an extra £15.00 a day for either a full Welsh breakfast or continental. Instead though we opted to go to the gwydyr cafe on the corner as we prefer a lighter breakfast anyway. That’s the only thing we’d change- everything else was absolutely perfect, our evening meal in the hotel on the final night was equally lovely, we ordered off the bar menu and there were lots of vegetarian options too.
