Pros:

Wonderful location. Very modern and clean. Lovely hotel full of character.

Cons:

Only minor issue which may be of note to potential guests is the lack of a lift. Didn't bother us but might be a consideration for others.

Very modern facilities with a high tech electronic check in at reception involving a virtual key. As I arrived very tired and covered in mud from mountain biking it was good to check in like this as I could check in without fuss, hassle or embarrassment!

Cons:

Some may have disliked the lack of any people in reception on arrival. I thought it was great.

Pros:

Great location, lovely food and very polite staff especially the bar staff, very accommodating!

Cons:

I would argue £165 per night is a little extreme for the supposed “deluxe room”.

Location amazing. Great that my dog was welcome. Lovely room. Warm. Friendly. Clean.

Cons:

Noisy at night due to various possibly extractors. Not sure but everything in my room was off. Also there is a £100 insurance they take off your card when you arrive. I stayed last night. I’m hoping for the refund asap!! The room was left immaculate! I’ve emailed. I’m sure it’s just an oversight.
