Ganga Savera - On Ganga Ghat

The stay was very comfortable, but what truly made it exceptional was the hosts. Their hospitality was next level and made me feel genuinely looked after. I had the unique opportunity to perform a private Ganga Aarti, which was a beautiful and memorable experience. I also loved spending time with the dogs, Biscuit and Kitkat. They added such a warm, homely touch. The location is perfect, right by the Ganga, with good food and consistently brilliant service.

Apart from excellent location, it is personal care taken by the host and hostess, Mr Somesh Bhatnagar and Mrs Kiran Bhatnagar, which is the high point of stay.

Staying at Ganga Savera Hotel felt just like being at home. The owners treated us like family—they were incredibly kind, humble, and always ready to help. From guiding us to the Ganga Aarti to helping with local travel and shopping, they made sure no one took advantage of us since we were new to Haridwar.

The owner’s wife was especially thoughtful. When we had some difficulty locating the hotel, she personally came to pick us up and later cooked dinner for us based on what we wanted to eat. The food was delicious, and the prices were very nominal and affordable. The hotel itself is neat, clean, and well maintained.

What touched us the most was how lovingly she cared for my 86-year-old mother—as if she were her own. Even though we spoke different languages, she made a sincere effort to communicate and understand her. The owner, too, went out of his way to drop us at the railway station early in the morning.

It’s rare to find such genuine and warm-hearted people these days. If you’re looking for a home-like experience in Haridwar, I highly recommend staying at Ganga Savera Hotel.

Ganga ghat is barely 10 metres away from the property, car parking is right inside the premises on the ghat itself making it easily accessible and convenient. Food was also good.
The property owners were really nice and humble. Ma’am also gave us some gift while checking out.
Somesh Sir was also really humble and didn’t charge anything extra for overstaying our checkout time as we had an elderly with us.

Breakfast was excellent. And the best part of the Hotel is its location. The Hotel staff and the owners are very helpful, will go out of the way to ensure your comfort and are very flexible with timings etc. Overall a nice memorable stay.

The property was right next to the ghat and was well taken care of by the property owners. The ambiance was very serene and the owners were truly great and took excellent care of us.

Amazing hospitality, great location

Location was good on the banks of Ganga Ma.. The owners tried to do their best for a comfortable stay. They performed Aarti everyday and we happily participated.

Small well organized establishment right on the ghats. Food tasty - like home food. Har Ki Pauri is 12-15 minutes by walking. Staff responsive.
