A great short stay to go on safari.
Pros:

This is a great place to do a safari. The rooms are gorgeous and the food delicious. There is no alcohol but you can easily bring your own with some planning. Our safari was in the afternoon where we saw loads of animals and birds. Loved every minute.they have a pool to cool off in too.

Cons:

Nothing not to like.

Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay at Dhalaya Resort. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was very convenient (very close to ETH). The pool is wonderful, with slides that kids will love. Food was great, breakfast was amazing. What made our stay truly special was the kindness of Mahesh — he booked the spa for us, gave us a ride in his tuk‑tuk, and answered all our questions. He even helped return a dress we had forgotten, which was incredibly thoughtful.

Pros:

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, alles sauber und ein bequemes Bett!
Wir konnten unsere Kleider waschen lassen und es hat sehr gut und schnell geklappt!

Das Zimmer war sehr liebevoll dekoriert und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle, die eine Safari planen, da das Hotel nahe beim Eingang zum Nationalpark liegt.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war gut, aber leider waren das Geschirr und Besteck teilweise nicht ganz sauber.

An awesome place with great staff!
Pros:

The location was great. Close to the orphanage to watch the feeding. The staff was all amazing and helpful. They also have a restaurant and pool which was great

Great for a safari, but keep to a shorter stay
Pros:

The rooms were spotless and the staff very friendly. They organised a great safari for us in udawalawe. And every morning the gentleman who cleaned our rooms left us our towels in the shape of an animal. The showers are lovely too

Cons:

The pool area is very small and not completed. The toilets beside the pool are unclean and for the 4 days we were there there was no hand soap in the bathrooms. The food was not at a great standard, and unfortunately there weren’t a lot of places to go outside.

Pros:

Nice and quiet kid-friendly hotel nearby elephant orphanage. Super clean and cozy rooms, a pool with slides is a perfect stay for couples or families going to safari.
Especially, I would lile to point out the breakfast. They really give their best!
