About the hospitality and maintenance is very good
There is nothing to don’t like
The Room size was very good & spacious , the bed linen / bed was clean and comfortable.
The caretaker made a good cup of morning tea and was available when required and the location was very central for the purpose of visiting temples/ markets etc which were located in the old city.Plus the host would visit when required or to show the beautiful saree collection that they have for sale on the property.
It would be good if the bathroom was cleaned more throughly, the drinking water needs to be cleaner , and the tea tray in the room could be more equipped.
I would have really liked to have gotten more information on the city and its culture from the host, who has been a resident of the city since some time. It helps to know some history and options for getting around from a local person who is on the same wave length as oneself. But would really like to appreciate Arpita to take the time out to chat with me too.
Very neat and clean place. Behaviour of the owners were top notch. Friendly and welcoming. We took 3 rooms. Two were mid size but one was quite large and spacious.
Location is inside narrow by lanes. Lacks hot water in all the rooms. We had taken 3 rooms. The tea / coffee refills had to be requested.
I can easily say that you will get a 5 star treatment from this homestay. The family who are running the place are staying on the upper floor themselves, so they are available anytime when you need help. And if you need help, they are there as if your parents would be. This homestay is one of the best places I have ever slept, including many 5 star hotels. The lady owner offered us their home cook food for lunch and dinner at a very very decent price. Food was delicious and plenty in variety, including desert. Overall cleanliness, the bathroom facilities, size and comfort of the room and any other thing you can ask from a hotel is far far above my expectations compared to the price of the stay. We were a group of three, staying in two seperate rooms and we all share the same thoughts about this place. You may wish to pay lots of Rupees for a comfortable stay at a high star hotel in Varanasi. OK its yor money, but if you ask my opinion, do not spend as much where there is a place like Heritage Haveli Varanasi Homestay.
If you stay at this place and you do not like something, sorry folks but it is on you, Not them.
Nice place. Very clean n well maintained property. Staff is also very helpfull..Value for money . Main market is just walking distance . I will strongly recommend everyone for this property
