Nicely located room next to the garden, restaurant & pool. Big bath room
The grounds, restaurant and pool area are very nice. A good place to relax. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The internet access is not great in some of the rooms, but is good in the lobby/pool area. The restaurant food is good (even very good at times), but you need to have a hakuna matata attitude when it comes to the front of the restaurant.
I liked the private rooms and the outdoor dining area
Bugs in the room, and bathroom did not feel clean at all.
Lovely property, friendly staff. The food needs some improvement.
Front line staff are incredibly friendly and trying really hard. From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was amazing and really helpful.
The vibe of the garden and grounds is lovely, the team are doing a great job to make it a calm and relaxing environment.
We were suprised to only have instant coffee at breakfast despite being in the Kilimanjaro region, famous for coffee. Added to this the a la carte restaurant is very expensive compared to other places we went to (and food nowhere near as good).
Overall a strange vibe from management here, not particularly welcoming or helpful. This is a shame as the front line staff are amazing!
Ambient
The property was beautiful and the staff were amazing! The biggest problem was that other than the waterfall and coffee plantation Moshi does not offer a lot to do. If you are going to climb Kilimanjaro or going on Safari this is a great place to start. If this is your main destination, I hope a LOT of relaxing is your plan.
All staff were welcoming and attentive. Omary was especially helpful and kind.
I probably planned one too many days to arrive prior to my safari. There is little to do in Moshi if you are not climbing Kilimanjaro. This is a wonderful property to spend a day or two to recover from a long flight before moving on.
Great food and great staff
