Pros:

Staff were attentive and helpful. They managed to prepare us breakfast-to-go as we had an early flight. The lounge/sitting area was relaxing.

Friendly staff and clean rooms, but very noisy location
Pros:

-Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff (10/10)
-Smooth airport pickup (paid transfer)
-Spacious and clean rooms
-Comfortable bed
-Walking distance to Boudha Stupa (nice area for a walk)

Cons:

-Extremely noisy location: hotel is directly under the airplane take-off path, which made sleeping very difficult
-Thin walls: could hear other guests talking, doors slamming, and noise in the corridor at night
-Additional loud “bang” noises during day and night
-My room (404) was facing the street and particularly noisy (other rooms might be quieter)
-No reception staff during the night, which felt uncomfortable as a solo female traveler
-Breakfast was very basic and limited (around 3/10 compared to other hotels in Kathmandu / European standards)

Pros:

The best aspect of this hotel is the staff. Front door security, reception, restaurant, house keeping are very friendly and accommodating.

Location is very good, near the hustle and bustle of Tinchuli and Boudanath, yet quiet at night. Design is very well done, and room, bed and bathroom are very comfortable. High water pressure, hot water shower, small refrigerator and water kettle are provided.

The restaurant has a good selection of local and Western food, all dishes of good quality. It's certainly recommended as a restaurant.

Cons:

Nescafé at breakfast for westerners is like butter tea without butter for Tibetan.

There's a full on professional coffee machine in the bar area, yet at added (import) price for a coffee. Perhaps there exists a middle way option for the breakfast times.

Kind, gentle, clean. Good restaurant. Excellent included breakfast! 🥞
Lovely transport from Tribhuvan airport.
Great location to Boudha stupa.
Definitely stay here again.

Cons:

A few barks from the dogs in the courtyard, but no problem.

Wir lieben das Hotel Atisha
Pros:

Wir waren eine Woche im Atisha Hotel und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Lage in Boudha ist einfach hervorragend und sehr nahe zu unserem Lieblingsplatz im ganzen Tal, dem Bouddha Stupa. Sauberkeit und Ausstattung ist vorbildlich, ganz besonders erwähnen muss man das super freundliche Personal und das sehr leckere Essen im Hotel-Restaurant. Wir kommen regelmäßig und werden auch nächstes Mal wieder hierher kommen.
