Good beers and hot showers
A bit worn looking
Great location. Great value breakfast. Great staff.
Work in and around hotel which we were not informed about prior to visit. Tired and worn room, strange smell in room (13) Poor corridor lighting at night/morning.
Very Central and friendly
Bedroom ok
Nobody on reception on our arrival.
No plug in bathroom sink.
Kettle lid broken (the hinge bit had broken off), and evidently just left.
Shower head didn't fit anywhere.
No parking.
Food poor.
General impression, the place is run on a minimum cost basis, with poor quality control.
Location
Room 13 was very worn out, holes in the wall presumably where fittings had been pulled out, needed redecorating at the least, bathroom was functional but mould and mildew on the grout etc. Accept it’s an old building but not an excuse for that state of decoration in bedroom and en-suite

The room was cold Sunday night could of done with heating on as was frozen after my shower and cold through the night and in the morning my husband was even cold and he is usually warm

Felt a bit tired and I had pigeons join me in the room as they like coming in through the open windows.
Friendly staff, good housekeeping.
Whole place felt shabby. Lights didn’t work on upper landing. Both taps in bathroom delivered lukewarm warm water, not hot and cold.

Breakfast was great
Bathroom window only had a net curtain which was inadequate for privacy at night
Bedroom window had a very thin curtain with a large floodlight just outside. It felt like daylight all night!
