Komfortabel aber alt
Pros:

Die Lage ist Zentral. Dementsprechend in der Samstagnacht laut.
Es ist ein altes Hotel und die Ausstattung auch. Dennoch sind die Betten komfortabel, Wäsche sauber und Pflegeprodukte stehen bereit.
Fenster kann man nur sehr wenig öffnen.
Badezimmer ist gross, Duschkabine sehr klein ,ein wenig Schimmel in den Ecken.
Für 1 Nacht war es für uns in Familienzimmer ok

Pros:

The breakfast was very good, the hotel is in a great central location.

Cons:

(Nothing to do with the staff) but I am not sure what has happened, but going back two years ago this bar always seemed to be full of customers through the evening at weekends when we visited. This year the pub seemed to be much less frequented. Not sure if the brewery has made any changes that have affected this.

Our stay was very comfortable. We liked the quaint, quiet, family atmosphere of the hotel.
Pros:

The vegetable sausages were good substitute for meat sausages and the breakfast on the whole was good.
The rest of the meals were very good, a good range all freshly done.
The staff made every effort to grant us our request, within availability

Cons:

We would have like more choice for breakfast, not all cooked breakfast. Possibly some porridge, cereals or pastry. Maybe more of a range of hot drinks also

We also would have liked more variety of vegetables or salads..

Massive room (ask for room 3!) and massive bathroom. A bit dated but it’s a very old property and fabulous location.

Dirty rooms
Pros:

Filthy bathrooms and dusty rooms. Never stayed in a place as dirty. Notified staff and still didn’t clean the bathroom.

A comfortable place to stay
Pros:

The room was excellent for its size and general comfort. The meals in the pub were good.

Cons:

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, there was no air conditioning, and there was no parking.
