Great location and view , lovely room and pool
Pros:

The location is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. Likewise for the pool, and the spa facilities. Easily could recommend

Cons:

We found the restaurant to be a bit difficult with a vegan on the first night, but they provided a vegan menu on the 2nd.
There weren’t enough sunbeds by the pool to accommodate even half the guests

Perfect stay!!
Pros:

Loved everything about the property. The spa, the pool area, the property so beautiful and well taken care of, the sound of the jungle, the yoga session, the room and the bed so comfortable. But most importantly, I loved the staff who were so warm and kind and made sure we are well taken care of!

Die Aussicht war super und die Mitarbeiter waren unnormal freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Cons:

Die Einrichtung entspricht nicht den Bildern, da die Fassaden verwittert und unrein sind und dringend renoviert werden müssen. Der Pool ist recht groß, allerdings sind an den Beckenrändern, auch am Pool am Balkon, Moosschichten zu sehen.

It was an amazing stay! The staff really went way beyond our expectations and the resort was beautiful. They had a great selection of activities for guests, great spa facilities and the transport into ubud was a great addition to the property. I can’t recommend it enough

Pros:

We stayed in a jungle view villa with a private pool, and it was truly love at first sight! The villa was incredibly cozy and homey, yet it maintained a highly romantic and luxurious atmosphere. It was exactly what we were looking for.

​The service at Abisena Wellness Resort is exceptional. The staff was super helpful, attentive, and always available whenever we needed anything. We also highly recommend the hotel’s relaxing spa—it is on the pricier side, but we loved it and felt it was absolutely worth it.

​I have to mention that we had the absolute best pineapple and honeydew juices of our entire lives here!

​Overall, a truly magical stay. Despite the small quirks, we would highly recommend this resort for a relaxing jungle getaway.

We would 110% return!

Cons:

There are just a few minor areas for improvement. First, the access to the villas is via a very steep ramp with no stairs, which felt quite dangerous when it was raining. Thankfully, the resort offers a very convenient buggy service, which completely saved the situation!

Second, it would be great if the terrace was larger or fully paved (without the grass patches) so that it would be easier to move the sun loungers around to follow the sun throughout the day.

​Finally, the breakfast was a bit mediocre. The small buffet was tasty, but the à la carte dishes felt a little overcomplicated and trying too hard. We would have loved to see more classic, authentic Balinese cuisine on the menu.

Stunning setting at a beautiful resort.
Pros:

This is the most wonderful resort! The views are absolutely spectacular and the service is amazing! If you need an escape and reset, do not hesitate to book your stay here. You will not be disappointed. The attention to detail in the rooms, the spa services, the restaurant...all were just perfect and with the lovely jungle and rice fields nearby, it is a perfect choice.

Cons:

Everything was great. Staff was so attentive and accommodating.

An unforgettable stay made truly special by exceptional people
Pros:

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and exactly as described. However, what truly makes it exceptional is the staff.

Special thanks to Wina at reception, Ita at the spa, and our wonderful guide Ardy—they made our holiday so much better. Ardy, in particular, took us around and showed us everything in such a thoughtful and enjoyable way.

Everyone, including those whose names I unfortunately can’t recall, was amazing. The staff genuinely elevated our entire experience to another level. We are extremely satisfied and grateful for such warm hospitality.

We highly recommend Abisena Wellness & Resort for a relaxing and beautiful stay in Ubud.
Pros:

The views were amazing. The food excellent and offered a variety for many tastes. The service impeccable. Their price point was excellent and we frankly do not know how competitive resorts could improve upon Abisena.

Cons:

The traffic to and from the city center was horrible. It made getting to and from any dinner or day event we scheduled extremely time consuming when taking a car for the two of us. We had to plan accordingly. But this was not an item the resort can impact. Although them offering to personally take and pick us up from was helpful and appreciated.
