The hosts are really warm and welcoming.
Pros:

 you for the amazing stay and hospitality. The place is quite close to the beach and there is a shop nearby. The good part is it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

August-Sept-Oct is a better time to plan Gokarna trips for a better weather. Visited Yana Caves as well from here it was approx 50kms away. Kudle beach is the best I felt and that is where this homestay is located. Enjoy !!

Cons:

Gokarna is hot during this time of the year.
Food wasn't included with the stay this time, dye to Gas crisis in India.

Nice place and family
Pros:

Chilled vibe, simple but comfortable rooms. Lovely host family who make great breakfasts!!! Also sorted us to hire a bike from a decent guy

Empfehlenswerte einfache und familiäre Unterkunft
Pros:

Sehr schöne Unterkunft non-AC mit netten Besitzern. Nähe Strand, gute Sitzmöglichkeiten im Außenbereich. Wäscheleine, zur Ankunft gab es einen Tee. Empfehlung für einen verlässlichen (aber recht teuren) Taxifahrer und wurde auch im Vorfeld organisiert. Kommunikation per Whatsapp sehr gut.

Cons:

Das Moskitonetz war kaputt und wir entsprechend zerstochen. Die Eimer im Bad müssten ganz dringend gesäubert werden, sie sind innen schleimig.

A good value clean basic room but at 74 I needed something a little comfier
Pros:

The super friendliness of the mother and daughter running the place
It location - 7 minutes from the wonderful Kudke beach and its restaurants
The fan
The verandah
The fact that the auto rickshaw I booked for 4am through the owners came on time

Cons:

The size of the room
Lack of furniture in room - I had to sit on floor and nowhere to put anything
Only cold (but refreshing) water
There was no breakfast available

Lovely peaceful location, kind staff
Pros:

It was very clean and tidy; staff were lovely and helpful. There was no aircon but the fan was very effective.

Cons:

The property is a 7 minute walk from the beach, down an unlit path - bring a torch! There was no hot water, and no storage: apart from a tiny table, we had to put everything on the floor. Some shelves would be helpful.

Pros:

The room is very simple but fine, clean and the bed comfortable.

Cons:

They will charge us for parking the rented motorbikes in front of our own bungalow.
We hired several motorbikes through the lady at the hotel and they were twice as expensive as they were in other places.
In the end you leave with the feeling that they are trying to get money out of you for anything and that is quite uncomfortable.

The naked bulb in the room was an eye sore. Did recommend warm diffused lighting to make the evening vibe more cozy.

Exceptional
Pros:

I only had two nights in Gokarna, but I am very happy that I found this wonderful place. Niyana and her parents are wonderful hosts. The rooms are very clean and have beautiful drawings painted by Niyana. It is very quiet and so close to the beach. I can highly recommend the homestay and would love to come back. Thank you
