Wouldn't go again
Pros:

Quite hotel, clean and friendly staff.

Cons:

The pipelines from the upper floor where crossing inside our bathroom sealing. Additionally, one pipeline had a leak and it was dripping over our toilet seat. Although we mentioned that in the hotel staff, problem was never fixed. The whole bathroom was smelling bad and we had to leave bathroom windows open. There was no soap in bathroom sink, no litter bin or toilet brush, however, after our complaints they added all that. Lastly, although we had booked a room for 3 adults, there was 1 double bed and 2 matrixes in the floor. No extra bed. I don't think a matrix in the floor is considered bed.

Pros:

This property is beautiful and very well maintained. The staff are exceptional - they went out of their way to make us feel comfortable! Bottled water was replenished both in our room and in the kitchen area. They also supplied little snacks in the kitchen which was lovely.

Cons:

The only slight downfall was lack of heat in the room. It was a bit cold at night and on rainy days (we visited during the first two weeks of February). The staff supplied us with an extra blanket which helped come bedtime.

Quiet and comfy hotel surrounded by lush greenery.
Pros:

The family room was spacious as well as the bathroom. We enjoyed chilling in the balcony in the mornings as well as at night to enjoy the cool night air. Love the garden, potted plants and general greenery enveloping the property. It feels like the building was built into the trees. The area is very quiet, barefly any vehicles pass on the main road outside. There is a small business district down the road with cafes, kopitiams, mamaks, mini markets and the very yummy hot pot restaurant - just 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Cons:

The family room has 2 single mattresses. One on the mezzanine floor and the other on the tiled floor. The mattress on the tiled floor could do with a platform of sorts as the coolness of the tiles seeps through the mattress making it quite cold for the person sleeping on that mattress.

Wonderfully peaceful and quiet.
Pros:

The location is quiet and private.
Absolutely perfect if you wish for a quiet and private stay. Perfect to recharge.
The garden was beautiful.
A real Getaway.
No food served here. There are the usual coffee and tea in the room.

Cons:

Not much to dislike
except if you are looking for a different type of vibe.

A very comfortable stay at a tranquil location.
Pros:

The staff were very nice. We have been contacted ahead of our arrival what made us feeling welcome. All our requests on arrival (e.g. a third towel) were met with a smile. The receiption lady was available on WhatsApp all the time.
We took Grab (3 mins) to arrive from the bus terminal, but otherwise it is a 16mins walk. I recommend a Tai restaurant 7 mins away from the Retreat - it is excellent!

Cons:

Despite smomking was forbiden at the property (thank you!) we could smell someone smoking.

Quiet location in Cameron Highlands
Pros:

The villa is located in a peaceful area and it is surrounded by a tropical garden very well maintained.

Cons:

The room and bathroom need some maintenance. Because it is a wet environment, there was a smell of mould which can be disturbing for allergic persons.
