Pros:

Extra large room with high ceiling. New room and bathroom. Best shower stall with full water pressure and hot water without a wait.

As usual the air conditioner was a bit noisy but worked well during extreme heatwave.

Pros:

First of all, Akash is one of those people you meet who, in one instant, you know is a good guy. A storm had caused some damage to trees in the area and he spent the evening with the volunteer fire department clearing the roadways and helping the community. Second, the rooms are so nice! The best motel I had ever stayed at. Had a classic motel feel to it while being totally modern. Benton is a cute little town with friendly people in it. Book the trip!

Cleanest motel/hotel I have stayed in for year!!!!
Pros:

It was one of the cleanest hotel/motel I have ever been in! It was also very spacious and comfy! I will definitely be back as we would love to spend more time at rend lake. Benton is so cute and if you are looking for locally owned- this motel and town does not disappoint!

Cons:

They do not have a pool but Rend Lake is only 8min away with a nice beach - so not a problem for us.

It wasn’t bad but it did not deserve the “wonderful” rating it got by Booking.com
Pros:

Room was good size. Beds were comfortable.

Cons:

It was missing several amenities that good rooms have: no clock radio/alarm clock, NO HAIRDRYER (which we could not believe), only had small shampoo packets. And the A/C unit is right next to one of the beds, so you were either too cold when it was on or too warm when it wasn’t. Poor placement.
