Absolutely worth the money!
Pros:

My room on the fifth floor, which was the top floor, had a small kitchen and a refrigerator. It was very quiet and very clean. The bed was comfortable and gave me a good night’s sleep. Breakfast was a bit standard, but still very good. They even made two sunny-side-up eggs for me. I was able to park my bicycle downstairs in the garage, which was very convenient.

Great place to spend a few days. Lovely staff, good breakfast and comfortable rooms. Highly recommen
Pros:

Really nice welcoming staff. Continental breakfast is excellent.
The hotel looks old from outside but has a very warm friendly interior. Rooms are large. Like many hotels in Europe the aircon is either just hot or just cold (depending on time of year). In our case the room was too hot but we solved that by leaving windows open during the night which made it very comfortable.
Underground parking is free and connects directly to the hotel.
Good location for river walks down the Moselle

Cons:

Wifi didnt work well. Otherwise a perfect stay.

Pros:

Hotel was easy to find and has good parking. Our room was comfortable. So glad to have A/C in the room. Really enjoyed the beer garden in the backyard.

Cons:

Decor was having an identity crises. Weird mix of traditional, a few antiques, some things modern, then added pop culture. Any of the above is good. But mix them all together? Hotel is trying too hard to be trendy and cool. Identity crises is the only way I can describe it.

Hotel aisément accessible, acceuillant, confortable. Excellent pour visiter Coblencer et la région.
Pros:

Une architecture particulière, une décoration pour le moins originale, on se sent vite très à l'aise ! Chambre confortable, spacieuse, bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse du personnel, le petit-déjeuner très varié avec des produits de qualité, restaurant apprécié. Parking souterrain et connexion wifi impeccable. Nous apprécions également l’accueil des chiens.

Frühstück nicht über Portal buchbar, nur an der Rezeption.

Pros:

The staffs are excellent: thoughtful, friendly & quick to respond. There was a lady at the counter trying her best attempt to help us to purchase some train tickets while our credit card was rejected (twice!).
And great design of the hotel, both exterior and interior

Cons:

Sometimes the wifi was on and off but it was definitely not a problem to us

The Contel Hotel was a nice surprise with a great location and amazing staff, will recommend!
Pros:

The location is good with the river behind the property, the staff were amazing, and the dinner atmosphere and food were very good. There was plenty of parking.

Cons:

I think that the breakfast could have been much better. There is plenty of space in dinning area to spread things out a little more. I think a better hot menu is a must, having just three choices of hot food is not a good decision.

Pros:

Das Hotelzimmer ist großzügig geschnitten und ruhig gelegen. Alles ist sehr sauber. Es gibt Parkplätze und einen schönen Biergarten. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher und Kaffemaschine. Außerdem hat das Hotel ein interessantes Design, so dass es immer wieder etwas zu entdecken gibt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Mir hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Vielen Dank dafür! Ich komme bestimmt wieder.

Pros:

Sehr herzliches Personal. Wir hatten ein großes Familienzimmer bekommen, das war prima. Es gibt viel zu sehen, eine bunte Mischung an Kunst und Mobiliar, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Cons:

Leider gab es nur Orangennektar, keinen richtigen Saft beim sonst tollen Frühstücksbuffet.

Gedanken zum Zimmer
Pros:

Hotel, Personal und Lage waren sehr gut

Cons:

Die Hotelzimmer im Erdgeschoss links sind sehr dunkel, so dass man immer Licht anmachen musste. Direkt vor dem Zimmerfenster war eine Straße, von der aus die Passanten in unser Zimmer guckten. Meine Empfehlung: diese Zimmer etwas preiswerter abzugeben. In der Berliner Staatsoper gibt es auch Hörplätze direkt hinter den Säulen. Wenn man vorher weiß, dass diese Zimmer dunkler und für Passanten einsehbar sind, akzeptiert man es eher. Aber das haben wir schon mit dem netten Rezeptionisten des Hotels bequatschen.

Comfortable hotel for our cycling holiday
Pros:

We stayed here for two nights as part of a cycling holiday on the Rhine.
The hotel had secure bicycle storage in a cage within the hotel's underground car park.
We found the room comfortable. We ate at the hotel, which was offering a service where you ordered at the bar and were given a buzzer device. When the device activated, then you went to another bar to collect. The food was good.
The hotel offered a laundry service so we were able to leave with clean clothes and spend our rest day sightseeing.
