Location close to the seaside
Booked two rooms for my parents, and my brother's family. My wife called to inform the venue that they would need one extra bed in each room, to accommodate the kids, and the venue agreed to the change. The week before the trip, my parents in law decided to gift my family the stay and went to the venue to pay for it, and also reiterated to the hotel manager the fact that they needed one extra bed for each room. The day my family arrived, at midnight, and after 7 hours of flight, with extremely tired kids, they learned that the rooms were not ready, and had to wait outside for another 30 minutes before getting into their rooms.... Absolutely not professional.
