One night in Schwangau.
Pros:

The Hotel Helmer was top notch and we enjoyed our short stay very much.
It is very close to Castle Neuschwanstein, but it is also close to a lot of other activities.
Our room was spacious and very quiet and comfortable.
Parking was available on site.
Breakfast was first rate.
The restaurant is also quite enjoyable.
I would stay here again and would highly recommend it.

Pros:

Incredible hotel in a great location. Free parking and free bike rental for the day. I was able to easily ride a bike to all surrounding attractions. The breakfast was very good (the best I can remember) with many selections. They also have a restaurant that I’ve heard is very good. The staff was excellent too. Highly recommend!
