Geldgier schlägt Gästezufriedenheit
Pros:

Die Aufenthalt hätte wunderbar sein können, wäre nicht die, man muss es leider sagen, geldgierige und menschlich unerträgliche Eigentümerin. Wir hatten vor langer Zeit ein Zimmer für 4 Personen für 169 CHF gebucht. Nach einiger Zeit meinte ich, dass ein einzelnes Zimmer für 4 Personen etwas knapp sein könnte und buchte ein zweites Zimmer für weitere 2 Personen für jetzt schon 179 CHF hinzu. Als wir ankamen stellte sich heraus, dass das zuerst gebuchte Zimmer für 4 Personen vollkommen ausreichend war, da es sich in Wahrheit um ein kleines Apartment mit 2 separaten Zimmern handelt. Wir baten also darum das zweite Zimmer stornieren zu dürfen und stellten auch gleich den entsprechenden Antrag bei der Buchungsplattform booking. Nun kam die Stunde, wo klar war, dass die Chefin keineswegs gewillt war, auf das Geld zu verzichten. Erst wurde verzögert, d. h. erst sehr spät geantwortet, dann wurde ein persönliches Gespräch für Montag angeboten, wo sich die Dame erklären wollte. Als ich ihr schrieb, dass sie selbstverständlich das Recht hat, auf ihrem Geld zu beharren und ich aber dann auch das Recht habe, den Aufenthalt auf meine Weise zu bewerten, da meinte sie, ich würde ihr drohen. Das Ganze zieht sich nun schon einige Tage hin und ist wirklich sehr abtörnend. Ich kann niemandem raten, in dieses Hotel zu fahren und ich werde garantiert da auch nie wieder hinfahren. Ich bereue es zutiefst, in diesem Hotel gebucht zu haben.

Also entweder die Dame ist geldgierig, oder aber, und das wäre noch schlimmer und ich wünsche es ihr auch nicht, sie hat große finanzielle Probleme und deswegen sind ihr 179 CHF wichtiger als langfristig zufriedene Kunden. Beides ist auf jeden Fall ein Grund für mich da nicht wieder hinzufahren. Uns wurden übrigens bei Ankunft neben dem zuerst gebuchten 4-er Zimmer zwei weitere leere Zimmer auf dem Stockwerk gezeigt, das bedeutet, das Hotel war nicht ausgebucht und demzufolge hat unsere zweite Buchung nicht andere Menschen davon abgehalten, ein Zimmer in diesem Hotel zu buchen. Dann hätte ich es verstanden, wenn die Eigentümerin auf der Bezahlung des zweiten Zimmers bestanden hätte, aber nur dann.

Un coin de paradis
Pros:

Un lieu exceptionnel avec une vue incroyable sur le lac, une très jolie petite plage au pied de l'hôtel et un excellent restaurant. Un petit coin de paradis, la définition des vacances :)

Pros:

A warm welcome by the owner. She is very attentive. The view on Lake Maggiore from the beautiful terrace is incredible.
Next to the hotel there is a stone staircase that leads to the beach, small but lovely.
And dogs are very welcome.

Great stay!
Pros:

A new hotel that was designed with much attention to detail and some cool features. The lake-facing room and balcony were very enjoyable; the small kitchenette is functional if you stay a few days. The breakfast was a tad expensive but rich and delicious. Parking was available nearby.
