Great Location and Impeccable Staff!
Pros:

Large comfortable room. Nice restaurant for breakfast, not free breakfast, but good food and wonderful service. Nice location across the street from the Capitol. Unfortunately, the Capitol building was closed on the Saturday we went to tour. We enjoyed walking through the Capitol Memorial Park and gardens, lovely and the memorials were very moving.
We enjoyed a leisurely walk from the hotel to Old Town Sacramento.

Cons:

It is a beautiful older hotel, we were surprised that it had several minor fixable shabbiness issues that tainted the "Regency" brand.

Great location for Capitol business. Just pricey.
Pros:

Excellent location to Capitol; spacious comfortable rooms with fridge and coffee maker which helped with early breakfast items!

Cons:

Very expensive.

Breakfast was very a very ordinary buffet.

Cons:

The price of the buffet was not worth it. I could have had a better breakfast for less money if I went to a Denny's.

Good location for state government business.
Pros:

Spacious room upgrade.

Cons:

Was looking forward to having a view but the windows were so dirty they interfered with the view. The view was also mostly of a construction site next door. Toilet paper holder in bad repair.
