Best place to stay in Ahangama
Pros:

Absolutely loved this place - in my opinion, the best value for money in Ahangama. Off the main street so not subject to the traffic that afflicts much of the town - absolutely massive rooms that felt like a luxury hotel. Private patio out the front for drying swimwear etc and LOVED the pool. A lifesaver in the heat. The owner was so kind and accomodating - very grateful for the chocolate icecream poolside!

Pros:

Perfecte ligging, rustig maar toch overal dichtbij. Lekker ruime kamers met goed werkende airco, koelkast en wifi. Personeel heel vriendelijk en wil je overal mee helpen. Fijn zwembad met ligbedjes. Ook het ontbijt was fantastisch. Het beste wat wij gehad hebben in afgelopen 3 weken.

Die schönste Unterkunft, die wir auf unserer Reise durch Sri Lanka hatten. Wir wären sehr gerne noch länger geblieben! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war hervorragend und das Frühstück sehr umfangreich 😊

Top Preis-Leistung an zentraler, aber ruhiger Lage
Pros:

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal im Crown Breeze und es war sehr komfortabel. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross, modern und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr nett und such der Pool ist super. Es ist sehr nahe von Ahangama Center - man kann die Hauptstrasse in 5 Minuten erlaufen. Der Marshmallow Beach in 7 Minuten. Dafür dass es nicht ganz an der Strasse ist, ist es extrel ruhig und vom vielen Lärm merkt man überhaupts nichts. Preis-Leistung ist wahnsinnig für Ahangama - da gibt es wenig vergleichbares in Ahangama.

Pros:

The owner and staff are incredible, kind and helpful. Super quiet location but walking distance to the main road and beach. Amazing breakfast. Great powerful hot shower. Beautiful pool and big rooms. Only a couple of villas so very quiet.
Extended my stay it was so good.

Cons:

Some signs of mould if your sensitive to it but overall an amazing place

De locatie is in het centrum en toch rustig. Het ontbijt is heerlijk. De medewerkers zijn ook vriendelijk.

Cons:

Je hoort de waterboiler aan slaan in de kamer wat soms vervelend is als je slaapt.

A friendly, comfortable and well-run hotel that we would happily return to.
Pros:

We stayed for 8 nights and had a really comfortable, relaxed stay. The owner and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond — moving our drying rack out of the rain, replacing my pillow with a softer one on request, and kindly assisting when one of us had an upset tummy. The room was large and comfortable with excellent air conditioning and a reliable hot shower. We really appreciated having a fridge freezer and kettle in the room. Breakfast was tasty each morning (including milk with the tea). The WiFi had just been upgraded and worked very well throughout the whole property. The pool was wonderful for a cooling dip during the heat of the day.

Cons:

Nothing — we were very happy with our stay.
