It's solidly OK.
Pros:

Not technically beachfront (there are several buildings between it and the beach), but no huge hill between the beach and the hotel (unlike most of the area...). It's very easy to get to both the beach and a market. Ample and easy parking behind the building- you will not fight for a spot. Takes credit card! Very functional air conditioner. Much more affordable than similar options, for sure.

Cons:

There was no "do not disturb sign" for the door... And hotel staff came in and cleaned my room- including folding and organizing my laundry. This was very nice of them, but as a solo traveler, it made me super uncomfortable. I generally do not allow my room to be cleaned for short stays out of security concerns, and this was a little extra.
Ironically they did not leave more toilet paper. I had to ration hard because I only got partial rolls to begin with.
Walls were very thin- I could hear my neighbor snoring. Some excited children a few rooms down were my alarm clock both mornings.
Owner was in a bit of a rush to get me out the door, it seemed like, which was a little irritating since I wanted to take my time on my last morning.

Staff told me to go outside and find an ATM for cash. No card! No Booking.com payment. Tax evasion.

Cons:

I was told to pay with cash. They don't take cards. The ATM charges you a hell of a fee to withdraw sums of money. They lied about Booking.com not being able to take the money out of my account directly. I think they just avoid taxes and scam the Booking.com management by avoiding paying the fees. I had to spend half a day running on ATM's just so that they could give me my ID back. Very horrible experience.
