Davos Chalet

We could not get in the stupid coded lock it was late and we were exhausted and the guy acted like it was our fault he gave us another room via phone never saw a human. It worked so obviously we can work a lock. It was weird hard to find isolated and not especially clean smelled weird. Very small room like a dorm no tv which did not care but some may. Plus we were afraid if we left the room could not get back in. We had business in ironwood in morning.

They are currently remodeling so some of the common area lights were not working and the kitchen was a little messy. I would definitely try this place again. It will be great when its all done

The stairs were difficult, up to room, down to car, even farther down to firepit and tunnel to access parking lot! There was a large step to access grassy area, which could easily be improved with one small step.

The bathroom was awkward: the toilet seat kept shifting around, the toilet paper holder was behind the door and the rack for clean towels was wobbly and not attached to wall properly.

There were several families staying there long term, who had taken over both kitchens and common lounge area. I heard them gossiping about me and didn't feel welcome

The place is currently doing renovations so I wasn't able to take full use of all the amenities but that doesn't whatsoever change my rating for my experience as everything else made up for it.

Paid for air conditioned lake view room. The first night we got a room with a view of a boarded window well opposite the lake, no air cond, no fan no way to open unscreened window,. Bathroom door lamination peeling off due to rubbing on floor and toilet seat, bathroom so small you could hardly turn around in it. No TV, no microwave no refrigerator. Very small room. Had to go up two flights of narrow stairwell to get to first floor room. Owner said booking.com overbooked and promised us a third floor lake view corner room with two windows for the second night. Instead luggage was placed in a first floor room with one window, no air conditioning, no TV, not even a clock. This room did have small portable fan.

The building itself is pretty bad and badly maintained. Water faucets fell off. dirty walls. Bathroom is very tiny. The bathroom sink is in the bedroom. No tv in room. Carpeting is old and stained. the outside door is dirty and needs replacing. the steps outside must have just been put in. They are rickety. Fresh dirt and muddy at the bottom. Had to go to 3 different rooms to find one that we could use. One had dirty linen in it. Had obviously not been cleaned. We could not use either kuerig unit. Did not work as far as we could tell. Room was very tiny.

There was not much sound proofing and it was quite loud at night.

Still new, so justified. The approach, the road is bad and I was confused on the entrance and parking. No TV in the room.

Pet friendly and beautiful

There was a miscommunication with Booking.com and we got a 2 bed room when we needed a 3. But they were prompt in providing air mattresses. Although the air mattress lost air by morning. The bathroom was clean, but the shower was so tiny you couldn't turn around sometimes
