Platanus Hotel Altınoluk

We regretted booking this hotel. In the mornings, there was no hot water in the room, or it wasn't hot enough, so we couldn't bathe our baby. We've never experienced this problem in any other hotel. The receptionist's explanation was that the hotel was fully booked. The building's technical deficiencies shouldn't be the guests' problem! Clearly, the receptionist has never actually been inside another hotel, as she seems completely unaware of the standards a hotel like this should meet.

By the way, this hotel is unsuitable if you're traveling with a wheelchair or stroller: there's no ramp at the entrance and no elevator inside. Even though we made the reservation a month in advance and our arrival with a baby was noted in the booking, we found it very strange that they couldn't offer us a ground-floor room.

Furthermore, the toilet in the room is mounted very high, while the shower entrance is extremely low. You have to duck to get in.

The room door only closes if you slam it shut; otherwise, it stays open. The soundproofing between the rooms is also inadequate: you can clearly hear your neighbors' conversations.

According to the receptionist, the room is only cleaned every three days, and if you want it cleaned, you have to hand over your room key. We found this out by chance. Unfortunately, the fresh towels didn't smell particularly fresh either; perhaps they hadn't been washed thoroughly. You might want to bring your own towels.

It was also very surprising that there was an extra charge for coffee at breakfast. This further lowers the hotel's standards and gives a stingy impression.

When a forest fire broke out in Altınoluk, the hotel doors were left open, allowing smoke to spread through the hallways and making the hotel dangerous for our baby. When we subsequently tried to shorten our reservation, they refused to refund us for the remaining days! Luckily, Booking.com helped us with this.

Sería un plus que pusieran crema humectante para el cuerpo en la habitación. Queda la piel muy deshidratada por el cloro de la piscina y yo no llevaba cremita, en algunos hoteles la ponen.

Havuzu olduğu için burayı seçmiştik ancak havuz tadilattaydı ve bu konuda hiçbir bildirim yoktu. Oda kapıları çok sağlam değildi. Kahvaltıda çeşit çok azdı.

Отель уставший. Слышимость 100%. Подушки- кирпичи, матрац- асфальт. Все расшатано, разболтано, подмазано, подлеплено. Однозначно только на оду ночь после долгой дороги, сильно умьавшим, просто если нужно переночевать. Своих денег однозначно не стоит, в таком отеле цена должна быть макс 40€ за номер с завтраком. Фотки слишком приукрашены. Полотенца застиранные с непонятными пятнами. Постель тоже самое- надеюсь она была постиранна. Полотенца для ног нет. Шампуня нет и видимо никогда его в ту баночку даже не наливали. Что за синтетическая тряпка в пакете, вместе с "комплектом"полотенц и одноразовыми тапочкам была я так и не поняла... пригодилась чтобы ей вытереть пластиковые стулья на балконе, т.к они были слишком в белом налете - видимо от старости.
