Goed hotel om omgeving te verkennen.
Pros:

Goed hotel. Heerlijk Duitse aankleding. Vriendelijke mensen. Ontbijt had iets uitgebreider gemogen, maar alsnog goed. Parkeren naast de deur.

Cons:

aantal zenders op de tv te zien mag beter.

A really great hotel with their own brewery (fantastic beer)
Pros:

I picked this hotel specifically because it is a hotel and brewery of which there are many in Germany and I have stayed at some on previous trips, and staying at the Häffner Bräu looked really appealing. I was not disappointed, far from it. The hotel itself is really pretty big on the edge of Bar Rappenau. The town itself is about a 10min walk away. My room was just perfect. As they have a brewery at the back, I wanted to have dinner in the restaurant and sample their beers. I had a great dinner and tried all their beers which are wonderful. The staff were all very friendly. The next morning there was good breakfast buffet with ample choice. A great place to stay particularly if you like good beer.

Pros:

Es gibt Zimmer mit renoviertem Bad. Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit älterem Bad und offensichtlich nicht gereinigt. Bei ersterem ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis okay, beim anderen nicht.
Das Frühstück ist qualitativ ausbaufähig.

Clean, simple lodging just a short walk from saline park and train station
Pros:

Clean, simple room with a nice modern bathroom in good location just a minute from the saline park and a few minutes from the train station. Quiet location.

Cons:

The breakfast left a little to be desired for the prices they change. The room was very cold on arrival. The kitchen couldn't provide a quick drink and hot soup for a weary traveller at check-in.
