das betreibende ehepaar ist super herzlich & aufmerksam! es war sauber, frühstück war lecker & die direkte natur umzu perfekt zum abschalten. der strand ist 3 gehminuten entfernt & super sauber & weitläufig.

I spent 3 weeks with this kind family in a beautiful house. 5 minutes to the beach, amazing garden, great food and comfortable bed!

I changed locations within Midigama because I didn’t like the first place and ended up here. I booked one night to try it out and ended up staying for 5 nights. Kumari and her husband Wassante were just so nice and caring that I felt at home immediately. Kumari cooked for me every night (will charge for that but reasonable price, super good sri lankan food and more than you can eat, she also takes requests). Right down the road is Coconut Beach which is quiet, beautiful and great for snorkeling. There is also a nice little surfing school. Jungle Beach and Midigama Beach are also close. I got a bike to travel around a bit, even took it all the way to Mirissa, not too far away actually. This is a perfect little home stay if you want to feel welcome and have your peace and quiet at night. If you’re looking to meet many people and party you’d probably wanna stay in Weligama or Ahangama. I personally loved it here and would recommend it. The rooms are simple (as in all home stays probably) but good value for money and bed was comfortable and clean. No hot water but not really needed in this weather. I even went on a safari with Kumari and Wassante. They will also help where they can with organazing trips for you. I will miss them and this place dearly!

The place is very close to Cocunut beach that is a very nice and quiet beach. Only 3 min. Walking distance. The room are basic but very clean. The place never get to hot because is covered by the shadow of the beautiful garden. There is a very comfortable outdoor shower and the owners are amazing! The lady prepared for us a delicious rice and curry at a super reasonable price that you can’t find in the others restaurants! I really enjoyed my stay. I absolutely recommend this place to everyone coming in this area! ☺️

Beautiful homestay nestled amongst tropical forest. The couple that live there are so lovely, and auntie cooks the most amazing sti lankan food! The beach is just 3 minutes walk away and is almost private <3 stay here to feel separate from the tourist hotspot whilst still being close by :))) highly recommend!

Opara Palace was absolutely perfect! Very clean, the kindest hosts, close to the most beautiful beach in Sri Lanka (coconut beach), and the best food!! You get so much for the price. Will definitely be back soon!!!

Nice place with very friendly hosts. Good located in a quiet area. Great dinner and breakfast.
